Terraria - Dig, fight, explore, build

Well my character works in single player and has worked previous to the new map, i'll not be playing the game again with a new character.

Finally got it to work!

When i first joined the server it wouldn't work at all but would work in single player so I'd create a new character enter the server and it would work but everytime i came back on after the transfer of my old stuff it wouldn't let me.

Damned if i'd play the game again and lose all my items i'd work hard for, turned out to be a corruption one of the item types i had in my inventory. I had to go through EACH item and rejoin the server to see what was causing it.

Mana Crystals, took them out and i could now play on the server

**** annoying
 
I've just got all gold weapons and mostly gold armour (silver chest piece) but I have no funky items apart from fast boots & grappling. Will I be ok in the corruption?

I briefly tried earlier today but the flying eaters swarmed over me and I fell down a hole ...

Will candles stop them from spawning?
 
Back from my hols today... looks like a nice update so far. What are peoples opinion on "Nights edge" ? Don't want to use up marumasa if it ain't worth it.
 
Alright guys, spent the last 3 hours upgrading what Neil had done already and added multiple floors, an obsidian farm, mushroom farm, corruption site (which is growing) to the west and made space for an auto wood farm when someone gets the seeds for it. Please don't destroy any of the things I've made without GOOD REASON due to the amount of time it took to make it all :(
 
hey james can you or someone pm me the new pass, or add me on steam, i have sneaky bear but he's not replying, annoying me i can get on and build stoof!

afaik wood farms don't work any more because only normal trees drop acorns

Filled up the obs farm.

Going to make a "greenhouse" later on ocuk sever with every new flower added in patch. Gotta get lots of clay pots :D
