I can get my tMod to work fine when in a LAN, but not otherwise, it's always been the case with me. I think there is something wrong with my router. I have one last idea to try to see if I can get mine to work! :l

Probably a problem with the files on my server. Trying a reinstall now - having to spam my way through 'steam servers too busy' cack.

Think I'll give the the OcUK server a try with a new character. Have played 40 odd hours single player and just seem to be building more and more tunnels into a large grid now I've pretty much done everything.

Could be nice starting again.

How does the multiplayer interaction work? Just running around with each other when you see them and feel like it or is there in game text/voice chat? I've never played any multiplayer on steam.

FrenchTart will drop you a message through trust for the password.

Please make mediumcore characters if possible. Ideally I would prefer the server to run as mediumcore only but I guess that isn't going to happen until TMod is updated.

Bought it, 16mb lol download. Bit pricy i think for such a small download.

So any tips for a newbie? Can i play on the ocuk server? Is it suitable for newbies?

You should have the password - I sent it to you via steam.

Or do you mean you also can't receive messages on steam?

Some people have gone softcore. Personally I'm plaing MC only from now on and if tmod allows me to 'force' that in some way I'll hopefully be doing that on the server (assuming it doesn't just block people from connecting).
