I reckon that spy shot car has a sloped back like an XJS
Yea' the ad and logo are terrible. This really is a god awful ad, really confusing to whom they are targeting with this.
I just hope when they take all the padding off that the ugly duckling becomes a swan!Reality is no one knew Jaguar had stopped selling in UK and about to launch a new car…
Now literally everyone does.
It’s literally got chunks of foam glued to it!
Because it's conspiracy, apparently.what I don't get..,.. if going forward jaguar are not interested in the "old fashioned" branding, and they are only expecting a max.of 15% of existing customers.be interested in the new cars, instead wanting new buyers currently unaware or uninterested in jaguars......
Then why do it with jaguar in the 1st place.
create a new brand with a new ethos and either keep making jaguars (possibly as essentially the same car but with different design finishes a bit like cupra born and ID3)
OR just sell the name jaguar to another company,.let them carry on with jaguar and the new and improved car and company aimed at Gen Z can do what they want.
IF it's true they genuinely do not expect existing jaguar customers to like their. new products.anyway I don't see the loss..
Costs less to not glue the foam on…So that's how they're saving costs these days

Hang on, wait, Jaguar are not selling cars in the UK any more?Reality is no one knew Jaguar had stopped selling in UK and about to launch a new car…
Now literally everyone does.
They still have cars but production has completely stopped until the new models come in so you can’t place any orders.Hang on, wait, Jaguar are not selling cars in the UK any more?
I think they know exactly who they're targeting with this. And its their current market, ie. aging, well off, slightly pudgy men who are up in arms about it because they aren't the target demo any more. This really is a god awful ad, really confusing to whom they are targeting with this.
So not forever then? If they did then that would definitely get the conspiracy folks sweating. They still have cars but production has completely stopped until the new models come in so you can’t place any orders.
Would one advert really stop sane people from buying a car?I think they know exactly who they're targeting with this. And its their current market, ie. aging, well off, slightly pudgy men who are up in arms about it because they aren't the target demo any more.
Their problem will likely be that they've now alienated the old market and a fluffy ad with Zoolander-level BS slogans isn't going to win them much new business.
Yep, new models will go on sale.So not forever then? If they did then that would definitely get the conspiracy folks sweating.
One advert stopped people buying a certain beer.Would one advert really stop sane people from buying a car?
