Terrible Jaguar re-brand

The average age of a new car buyer is 55. Is that a young audience?

I shudder at the finance when 50 grand is knocked off the car's value in 3 years.
It is an EV, so it'll be BIK gravy train.

A young couple earning £100k may want to burn any cash over 100. At the moment the luxury EV market is all geared towards old men - Audi 4x4s etc. Gensis and Ioniq probably the most exciting.

(so was there some new jaguar reveal at 2am )

Elephant has to be any Trump or china/trade-war related import duty they might impose on these cars if made in the UK/eu hits half their market
is social media in China given the re-brand a thumbs up

to be honest.... it isnt just Jaguar, and maybe i am a dinosaur because advertising in general seems to have gone to crap recently . I am sure there are plenty of exceptions but for instance this mini advert from not that long ago i think is fantastic (despite not really being a modern mini fan) but i think this top advert really nails the success of the past but being bought into the modern era, Jaguar could easily of done something like that with jaguar through the ages but ending with their modern new rebrand car

vs the new mini advert, which to be fair DOES show the car, (and i dont even mind the song) but the advert does absolutely nothing for me what so ever. I guess i am just not down with the youth any more (not that i ever was)

so maybe we are all just being stuck in the past and jaGuar will be fine in the future. time will tell i guess..................

but i still say the advert is rubbish :D

Nissan are also on the inclusivity train, I saw a video of some Nissan techs doing sign language. Insane!

The latest ones on the radio are companies playing recordings of satisfied customers. The first one I remember recently is Octopus, who played a few different clips from their phone calls. Then Shell got on it with their EV giveaway, now the lottery is doing it, it's lazy, cheap, and absolutely ******* cringe.

By far the best one was Octopus, a customer who was clearly absolutely smashed off his face telling them how much they saved him and changed his life. And this company thought "yep, put that on air, that'll do nicely" :D

I can't find it anywhere, hopefully someone with some sense pulled their marketing team to one side and told them to scrub it off the internet.

Brilliant that the iconic British car brand Jaguar is launching its new brand at 2am lol. Top tier work

Diverse clock.

They have more money than brain cells if they burn "extra" money on an overpriced car. But maybe that is the intended audience :D
