Test Drive Unlimited Gameplay Thread

After two hours of driving on roads in the wrong direction, and going dizzy from calling up the GPS every 20secs, I finally got my explorer achievement :p I'm not sure where my reward (the house) is though?

Also managed to get all the delivery missions completed today and got my dream car :)
 
yup go to any house and click info then news to read them

anyone found the secret portal yet ?

some guy showed me the way the other night..takes you to the small island (Eden island) of the east coast of the main island.

btw i have quit the ocuk speed 1 club as there was never anyone in there. now in a club that i can actually use :rolleyes:

hehe. remember showing a guy that easter egg and he said i had "hacked" TDU and he was going to report me to microsift and atari. still haven't heard anything from either of them :confused:

Lol I can remember finding that warp eden symbol. Took me ages to work out actually how to get to the island though.

Nice wish I had seen that before. The bit I couldn't get was the speed you hat to hit it at (stupidly I didn't try it quickly).

Was slightly dissapointed that there wasn't much to do on that island though.
 
I suck, seriously. I can't seem to find all the car dealers.. i'm sure i've been to them all though. ARe there any hidden somewhere that's not displayed on the gps map interesting locations or whatever it's called?

Nope, although there are a couple that are hard to spot with the contrast of the grey against the in game map.

Think they are all detailed on the paper map you get too.
 
nar i still play it. i need 200 huindred more miles before i have covered 5000, so ill be doing the millionaire's challenge a few times. gave up on the trade thing as it never works.

It really is **** poor that things still arnt working properly. I'm in 2 minds as whether to sell it or not. There are a few achievements that I havnt yet got, and there is the promise of new cars in the future, but I dont see what use they will be apart from the odd race in multiplayer.

If I knew that there would be further single player challenges released, I might be a bit more enthusiastic. Post-launch support for the game has been dire, when they could have really pushed the boat out and built on the game.
 
This game will slowly dwindle unless atari get out an update quick. Nothing online flippin works! I'm also considering selling it, but given that TDU is one of my big titles of 2006 it's hard to do so. I hardly ever see ocuk peeps anymore, I've got a club 'bug' which means I can't join any clubs lol warrgh :(
 
Just made my mind up actually, going to sell it as I wont have time to play it with Splinter Cell, PES6 and Gears of War all out/coming out.

If I want to finish anything off I will just rent it.

Happened to me too, i've since started over but losing all my original work destroyed the fun factor of the game. I'm only playing it for two reasons now:
1. Gamerpoints
2. Hoping more US muscle gets added
