Test Drive Unlimited Gameplay Thread

Yeah its a very absorbing game, me and Stellios went for a 'little' cruise. Then I looked at the clock and noticed that I had been on for 2 hours :o Very good game, its what the 360 is made for.
 
hehe nice idea there, but the fact you can simply filter all the chalenges in the game makes it slightly pointless imo. Nice idea though.
 
May do a guide for all the achievements on this game if i can be bothered, as i found a few nice ways of getting some of the harder ones ;) Really wish id have kept this game so i could have done the silly club races thing anf got the full 1000 points, instead of an incomplete 990. Gah, might persuade me mate to buy it :) :) :)
 
This might be a really stupid question but whats the deal with the online cruising?

When you cruise around you see other live players right? does this mean when you load the game up it looks at your friend list etc to put on the same island/server as someone else or what?

sorry am just confussed as to how it works. Was thinking what if there are loads of ppl on at one time for instance. :)
 
Easyest way to unlock all the acheivements is to keep doing the i think its 170mph in busy traffic for 15k till you can do the millionares challenge and the tour challenge. then keep buying houses and collectors cars till your a champion, then do the rest with good cars.
 
Hmmm, I'd have said that the easiest way to start off is to do the transport missions, as they're a great way to earn money and get used to the handling of the faster cars. Pick up some of the best-in-class cars, like the Skyline, Ferrari 575 and the Miura, and start doing races, time trials and speed challenges to get your rank up.


These last few challenges are really kicking my arse, not fun at all :(

Only 1 transport mission is showing up on my map :(
 
It's Expert rank.

You need to drive around to unlock new missions, it's worth doing, as you need to unlock all the garages and rack up some mileage, anyway :)

I found after completing all the challenges i had 4500 miles (that iuncluded a lot of random crusing around and talking to randoms :) ) so i just did the best race (imo) in the game - the millionaires challenge in a bike - its so easy on a bike its untrue.

Wait till you go for the achievement where you have unlocked all roads :) :) :)

Just got eagle eyed driver, just got the all roads one and the 15 houses one left now, the rest are multiplayer missions.

The multiplayer ones are really easy. Found i sort of glitch for the multiplayer wins one. tehehehe :)
 
Well, just got myself a skyline and haing some fun, very forgiving, too!

Not so forgiving when i took it in the 10 miles $20K E class race and took a corner 1 mile from the end a bit hard, ditched it and couldn't get out! Boody other cars went by as i was waiting for the RAC :( hehe
