Go behind them and flash your headlights (gren button) to initiate an instant challenge request. If they accept you can then choose the finishing point of the race yourself.
 
woot done the tantulas speed trial, mclaren f1, untuned, 1st time and with about 15seconds to spare after deductions! :D Now cmon the hitchhiker missions :( :p
 
i like doing the car transport missions where you can take your time, and since you lose money for going off the road and hitting stuff i actually drive like a civilised human being. lol which makes a change from racin about like an idiot :p
 
Yep, they are good, and they are the best money for someone that isnt yet champion rank. Once you get champion you get 75k for a race, then those missions become less valuable, but they are worth completing for the Mustang GTR :)
 
would be nice to cruize with a load of guys you know, if only you could find someone in game when you wanted to. tdu sucks for this, 2 or 3 people exit a club at the same time, theyre all sitting outside the club, yet can't see each other. also my xbox eat my tdu disc :(

30 secs????? If you use a tuned saleen and drive on the edge of the road its more like 10 secs max. ;) To the guy who asked about the glitch, this challenge is a glitch because you can simply keep repeating it and build up large sums of mula very easily.

Saw a thread once on the xbox.com forums where some sad losers were bragging how many millions of $ they had accumulated on TDU. I think when they got into the 30 million section it was becoming a tad overkill ;)
 
Now the proud owner of 3 Shelby Daytona Coupes :eek:

Bought one on the market for myself after being sick of waiting for my reserved one, and as soon as i bought it my reserved one was ready to buy (grrrr) and then when i went one the market some docile fool was selling one for £600k. Now got 2 Shelbys on the market for £1.5m each, nice profit margin :)

Orite thought you were talking about speed glitch with the driving missions.

O and you can't use a saleen as its a b class race :p

Anyone recommend a good G class car?

You can use the saleen, its whats i used about 20 times in a row whwn i was running low on funds. Think your doing a different race dude. Can't remmeber the exact race, but its at Champion rank and gives you $80,000 for reaching 180mph in any car.

Well if your aiming to up to the Champion or Ace level you need to finish everything in below par time. What races are you having trouble on in particular as 99% of this game is very very easy - there are 2 or 3 races that offer a challenge.
 
A tuned Miura is the best bang for your buck in Class G, should easily see you through all of the races/challenges.

I've only got 9 time trials and 6 hitchhikers left, plus the Inter-club and ranked multiplayer and about 300 miles :D
 
Yeah I was thinking about the one downtown, done the one in the mountains and bought a Shelby daytona coupe!! :p Done all G class races now! ;)
 
Hey guys, just thought i would say hey on the thread, finally getting some time to play today after a damn 14 hour work day yesterday, i'm about 8% in, with a Saturn Sky & Corvette (Maybe i shouldn't have gone for such a high class so soon) and about 125k in the bank, i'm not seeing that many things left around the starting area yet and am not sure what class would be best to go with next as i'm running a C & F class atm, would an E clas by a good idea and be able to find some races/missions that would suit the car? :)

Really enjoying the game though, my initial impressions were not that great, but now i'm really getting into it :D
