I love this game, but envy 360 users with the live service. Perhaps it would have been better for Atari/Eden to wait and use this game with Windows Live for Vista.

you mean new profile then new account...ok ive tried it before but i will try again coz of fresh install
 
no when i click new it takes me 2 the gamespy login detail screen.....it must be using the key from my old install....i dwnloaded it via torrent....then again theres no cdkey.txt anywhere.....i think its format time
 
hmmm i think i know how 2 solve this....i need somebody to send me the folder "test drive unlimited" located in C:\documents and settings\%your username%\local settings\application data. in the folder is a cdkey.tx file......now if you open that and change the key to anything....that way i wont get your legit key.....see once i have all that folder i will place it in the above directory and the game then should fail the key and ask me for a new one......someone did it on atari forums....now can any1 sort me out please?

bit crap, why wont it work if you uninstall and delete everything from C:\documents and settings\%your username%\local settings\application data. in the first place then reinstall again

i dont know.....im making my own folder anyway with cdkey.txt file in......however i need to know what else is in the folder........could you just check for me please mate.....im sure theres another file

You sure its there?

I don't have anything there... no cdkey.txt or anything...

hmmmmm could you do a search on your pc for cdkey.txt please....you should find a folder named test drive unlimited.....thats the one i need for you to check please

Looks like you can use mp3s or shortcuts
 
AHHH I FOUND THE CCDKEY FILE AND X'D IT OUT....when i went into the game it asked me for a cdkey....then i was str8 online...yipeee.....however i cant race anyone....i try going for a orange match...i see a list of players but then it says unable 2 reach player????

Got my copy delivered yesterday for £17.99. I just installed the XBCD drivers for my 360 pad and it works fine now I just noticed you cant wind the windows down in the car like on the 360. Runs fine on my system too maxed out :)

how do you join a race...keeps saying it can connect to player....dnt want 2 connect to a player....want 2 connect to a race
