Pyro only has a limited range though, and walking backwards generally gives you enough time to dead them. I find anyway.

It just seems to me that soldiers are so inconvinient all the time. The shoot you at point blank doing like 5 damage to themselves, they can go anywhere in the map, they immobilise you by shooting you into the air and shooting you again as you come down. It's just annoying they make me sad

Hey guys - I connected to the server for the first time last night (Egon). I assume its an open server to OCUK members right?

There were some good games, I finished a respectable mid-table most of the time which I was pleased with, seeing as I've just bought TF2 and don't know all the maps yet.

Do you guys play most nights? I need me some practice

Yup, anyone is free to join. The server tends to be full most nights but there is a high enough turn around of players so you will not have to wait too long for a slot. I tend to play on another server with auto-join set to the overclockers server if there isn't a slot available for me.

Just watch what other folk are doing with the various classes and pick up a few tips that way. Try and get on Captain Yesterdays team. He tends to get the blame for all team losses so no one will be pointing the finger at you.

I'd already given up and left by the time Duke was there, and I did tell him, twice and so did Skeeter, but alas to no avail.

I remember seeing Captain Yesterday.... was one of a few names, there were a few [OCUK] tags on there. Should have some time for a quick game tonight !

'Anything but' probably didn't kick as he himself had no proof of there wrong doing so suggested muting them, as you said in game, thats not good for team work but I don't think the two whining cats were there for the teamplay. I was on Anythings team and from my perspective there were no problems on chat, after map change I swapped teams and was glad to see duke kick them as, just had you'd said they needed it.

Make sure you have the latest Intel drivers and I'd reccommend 169 Nvidias aas they gave me better performance over the latest ones with the 8800's

Really? Interesting because I've found the last few whql nvidia drivers to be very poor and shockingly unstable in certain games (although not TF2).

It's an age old Nvidia thing, differnt drivers for differnt games, sometimes howerver it's less hassle to have a happy medium, and for me it's 169 ones. :/
