US: The 100

Some of the posts here are funny. The way the post(s) is structured make it seem like the judgement made by the poster has to be shared by all. It just comes of like a worthless post in the end.

Why not mention why you liked/disliked the show in more than a few words? :)
 
The show certainly picked up after Ep3. Sure it had some cheese but overall I liked it. Finale was good too :)
 
Yeah does pick up after episode 3 - still not really got the scale, etc. I'd have liked to see though but atleast people are reacting to the environment/situations, each other, etc. in more believable ways.

Still feels quite contrived story wise in many ways though. At times does feel as if someone had some unused scripts from terra nova, props/sets left over from that and other tv shows, etc. and decided to put them to use.
 
Terra nova was hugely wasted potential though :| to be fair (the finale and 1-2 episodes aside which were truly dire) most of it was good enough as mainstream tv shows go but so far short of its potential it was almost criminal.
 
Happily agree with that :)

I loved the premise but the story never really developed. I had huge hopes for season 2 to really give the story a kick in the arse but alas it was cancelled.
 
My main gripe with the 100 was every time it switched to an 'Ark' scene it felt the need to show the same spinning space station shot. It was fine the first couple of times as it was pretty. But 1000 times later it got on the repetitive side :P

I agree about the scale thing you mention Rroff, I remember saying at one point how they must have the cheapest budget for set filming as it was the exact same bits of forest used over and over. Plus their inside drop ship bit and not a lot else.
 
Just finished watching season 1 and I quite enjoyed it. I was ready to stop watching half way through, but it gets interesting towards the end and ended up watching the last 3 episodes back to back. Season 2 could be pretty good.

Seem to be front loaded a bit with that stuff, waters it down a bit later on though it can be a bit annoying at times, about episode 5 it starts to bring in some more adult themes, still isn't what I wanted it to be but it does get a lot better.
 
Well I am very glad I didn't throw in the towel after the woeful first couple of episodes and followed it through to the end - I just finished watching the two part finale and very much enjoyed it. Looking forward to season two now :)
 
Just watched the latest episode and I've decided it's rubish much worse than Revolution perhaps on a par with the poor update of The Tomorrow People, I gave it a chance and even told mates who initially thought it was crap that it gets better because of what i read on here but it doesn't.
