200lb of Lean Mass!

Naw that would take a good few years I think!

I have some short term goals (<1yr) these aren't 1 rep max, I mean do at least 5 perfect form

2xBW Dead Lift
2xBW Squats
225lb Bench

:D

My main goal is to obtain a mentality where diet and exercise is an integral part of my life for the foreseeable future, rather than aspects that I have to concentrate on and actively will myself to adhere to.

My other main goal is to have a decent physique for the beach in Cyprus, my summer holiday this year.

2010 goal is to just keep progressing throughout the year :p
Going to monitor myself more closely since it's one thing I never do (take measurements/photos etc)

Maintaining what i have done from last year, managing my weight and remaining lean, not a fan of mass building, although if i need it, i'll change a nutritional supplement to a mass gain supplement, and consume it until i'm happy with the mass i have and maintain my body shape as best i can, basically just making little tweaks if needed along the way.

I also have a cheat day once per week, replace one meal for my cheat meal, just so my cravings don't get out of control.

My training routine is what i love the most, because it's so easy to fit into my weekly schedule.

My goals for 2010 is to lose the xmas podge by end of feb latest and then to get the big 3 up to 370Kg which I think is attainable as I am currently on 300Kg; 80 - Bench, 110 - Deadlift and 110 - Squat.............. need to deadlift more!!! :)

- Get bigger
- Get stronger
- Look better

I don't like setting long term precise goals but for the short term I'd like to increase my strength as much as possible and get over 14 stone.

Same for me, apart from I am already over 14 Stone.

I was a bit over ambitious with mine last year though I did manage my 200KG deadlift.

I'm currently 'trimming' at themoment on 2500 calories which is tough as I'm really tired come the evening but seeing a difference alreay. I've less 'love handles', better shoulder shape and more ab definition. Ideally I want to get this stomach flat as I'm still carrying weight from my obese childhood.

So on the whole:

Be leaner.
Maintain my PB lifts at a lighter bodyweight, if not improve them.
130KG bench (+10KG) Haven't 1rm'd in a while.
150KG Squat ( + 10KG) Easily do-able, 160KG would be great but we'll see.
Get my thights up another .5" to 26" whilst being leaner than I am now.
Sort out my deltoid imbalances and get some solid shoulders going on.
Continue the rebalancing of my upper back.
Some Tuck Planche Press Ups.

Not quite as ambitious as last year but all achievable hopefully.

Just started stronglifts advanced with a hope of getting my bench press up. My goals this year 100kg bench 160kg squat 180 deadlift. Got a really good diet going at the moment so I'm hoping to keep that going too.

Those are good honest targets. Benny. Though I thought your 1RMs would be higher than that! :o

I have a feeling this year that it's going to be a year of being "big" rather than ultra lean. I'm going to get the next 8 weeks of leaning up before AGVT and take it from there.

Hmm ive got some ambitious goals for this coming year.

I weighed in at a stonking 88kg (5ft7” height) at the beginning of December, and that was it, I just afford to get any heavier, so I got to the 18th of December and started the stronglifts routine with some small amounts of cardio. I weighed myself yesterday and I was 84.5kg, so far im doing quite well, but Im not really focusing on the weight more on BF, and I know that’s come down quite a bit as clothes are a lot looser etc the other upside is that the HIIT that I do once a week and the SL routine have really helped my 5 aside.

As I done some weights before Ive skipped a few weeks on the SL routine, currently im squatting 77.5kg which im pleased with. Targets are get my weight down to 75kg with 20% BF (told you it was ambitious :p) and be able to squat 2*bw, 100kg bench and 180 deadlift. Ive got quite a serious reason to get fit though, I want get stronger and fitter so I can donate a kidney to my bro, at the moment we match but my weight is too high.

That's what my last semester was about getting 'large and incharge' :p

Yeah my 1RM's aren't quite as high as I'd like (appart from the DL). I've not really done much strength training for chest and have just recently begun squat strength training. Originally my 1RM was 140KG and I struggled to get 120KG for a set of 5 a while back and 130Kg for 3 was tough. On Sunday I banged 5 sets of 122.5KG out with a minutes rest between each set. Feeling quite confident about throwing 150KG up. I think it's my glutes that are the weakpoint as my quads are strong.

I quite like having something to work at, something that needs addressing rather than having my targets consist of just things that I'd 'like' to be able to do. I should be able to squat 1.5 BW which is roughly 135KG. I'd like to get that up to 1.75/2 over the next few years. I'm in no rush though :)

Goal: To keep training hard and enjoying what little time I spend in the gym. :)

No physical goals, really. Certain areas of my physique are lacking but I'll just keep on pushing them. :)

That seems like perhaps the best reason for getting fit, and some good progress so far, well done mate and good luck for the future :)
