*** The 2010 Gym Rats Thread ***

Delvis trains at home.

Though some bulgarian split squats, even at body weight could be good. Nice and slow. You could hold the dumbell in the opposite hand. Though doing this regulary may create some imbalances and lead to problems further down the line.

Aye :(

Possibly...but that would have hurt, even in the opposite hand :p Which is why I'm thinking color bone injury originally, but god knows...it'd be still as painful now unless i heal REALLY quickly

Bodyweight, deep squat jumps :)

dude...it was hurting to walk! Let alone squat :p

Run down there and whizz yourself through their MRI ;)

Could all another department and ask them to get someone from the x-ray/MRI department to come and speak to you on that phone and that you'll keep calling until they do.

Haha, indeed!

I've got the main line number now, so i'm going to call that later

Agreed, but I'd be very tempted to walk into A&E at this point !

Heheee! Aye, tempting, although i'm not sure this hosp has an A+E

If that number doesn't work then walk into A&E, chainsaw your arm off and ask them to sew your arm back on and sort your shoulder/collar bone out while they're at it!

Lots of each! Lol!

1/2 tub yoghurt.
1 apple
1 banana
A good Handful of each berries
A good covering of cinnamon
Add milk to get consistency you want b
Similar with oats but always start off with a good handful.

Just play with the measures. Too thick add more
Milk, too thin add more oats and yoghurt. :)

Is it fine to do a big batch and stick it in the fridge for a few days?

Never tried low bar, probably should but it doesnt look very comfortable.

Also missed the gym today because I forgot to bring shorts tommorow :(. Gonna do legs instead tommorow then push day on friday. Then gonna change the routine to 4 days a week the week after halloween with:
monday- Legs/abs
Tuesday- shoulders/biceps
wednesday- Chest/tris
friday- Back

How does this change in routine look? Looking to gain mass in arms/forearms more so than other areas (mmmm bicep boy :p) although mainly doing a lot of compound lifts.

Gonna start trying hang cleans and powercleans too :)

And your thoughts on this are?

I like low bar, as I find it much easier - but I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing. As mentioned I can keep form better, high bar caused my back/upper torso to lean forward and my hips come up and through first, then my chest. Like a much less pronounced squat/good morning mash-up.

But low bar also hurts my wrists.
:)

Low bar for me. Much more comfortable for those of us who don't have massive shoulders/necks.:)

edit: Deadlifts make me happy. Had a go at 5x5 at 120kg today. Failed on the 4th set, but it felt really good. Could hardly stand up to do my upright rows afterwards :D.

wow my triceps was still knackered today from money's shoulder session lol. To make things worse I've recently started warming up with 3 sets of pushups (close/regular/wide hand) before my chest routine. 20KG dumbells felt soo heavy, so I just did 5x6 with them. :)
