its not bugs or bites, its like the plants has tiny warts

mines in a 3L pot, it will be going into a 5L pot soon as its starting to drink more and more water from the sun we've been getting and i just feed it babybio every 2-3weeks

That looks to me like eggs ?

Have you tried brushing them off with a small paint brush or something similar ?

Mine are starting to grow more and more each day now, the ones below were planted at the end of Jan and took a good 4 weeks to emerge

Under lights from 07:00 - 21:00 and still in the propagator

Looking good Enzo. Mine (from the seeds you sent me) are also doing great. Just re-potted them today, hoping they shoot up a bit now :).

Just finished building this today  Got the frame free from our next door neighbours, but there were quite a few broken pieces of glass and they were the type that clip together and overlap. So decided to just get polycarbonate instead.

For the base I just used some 3"x2" timber and clad it completely in 10mm woodgrain PVC that I got free from works skip. Then I also clad the steel base of the greenhouse as it was rusted through in a few places.

Just sat the base on some bricks, hope it doesnt sink :D. But tbh it weighs very little, should be fine.

Total cost was about £160, not bad really. Would be about £300 for a brand new one.

Nice job Mark A!

I'm getting the courgettes used to being in the greenhouse now Ive just potted them up to 5" pots ready for planting out in a month or so.

Scotch Bonnets are looking very healthy and starting to develop now. Cayennes are still well ahead and looking good!

So...would I be able to put all my plants into a greenhouse now? Cant see there being a frost now? And even if there was, would the plants not be safe inside it?*

The temps was 50oc when I opened the door at midday today . Going to have to remember to open the door and vent every morning, or i'll come home to a load of fried plants.

*Please only answer yes to this question, as I've already bunged them all into it :p.

Mid may is the date i think of last frost. So unless you have bought a fleece cover for your greenhouse i wouldn't risk em out in a greenhouse just yet.

Also dont forget to put them outside for a few hrs each day for a week when moving stuff outside. To harden them off, tho im not 100% sure u do this for putting in greenhouses or not. I am assuming so tho.

You can leave them in there, just check what the temp is going to be overnight and if it's too low then take them inside.

I've got a Min/Max thermometer and it's been a min of 10°C for the past few nights which id say was fine.

Argh, just looked on BBC weather and its now showing 3oc tomorrow night. Was showing 10oc the other day.

Think I'll bring them back in for a few weeks and see what its like then.

Well, at least my single Naga as I really want that to produce some chillies this year. Not really bothered about a few of the Cayenne plants as I have too many anyway.

you got some kit there DavidMarq

Mine are continuing to do really well, going to get them split into separate pots tomorrow and get a computer fan running tomorrow as it's now hitting 34-35c in the cupboard with this increased outside temp. They just look so incredibly green and vibrant. Not sure if it's the lights making them look that way or if they are just super green.

Nice :), my Cayennes have flower buds but they fall off. Probably as there are hardly any leaves.

sithlord, They look great for 3-4 weeks old. I'd get them potted into separate pots now, before the roots get too tangled up. You should get a good crop from them.

All mine are still 2 inches tall at most and only a few small leaves. Guess thats due to the lack of sun and heat up here. Hopefully they will pick up with the sunnier weather :(

Any recommendations for starting now?

Something easy to keep that can just sit on a south facing window sill.

Thanks
