Squatters - Are you having the jeans/thighs syndrome?

Majority of my jeans are almost skin tight around my thighs but loose around the waist/bum area :(

Mainly G-Star/Burberry - Own 5 pairs of the latter brand :(

Mine are super tight around the legs.

I buy super sloucher ones from River Island mostly, super wide and baggy, but length is just right.

At other places I need to buy something like a waist 36 sometimes.

I also have a massive "Bush Man's" Ass, thanks to my South African family genes hahaha, also probably from being a computer geek and computing student, I tend to sit on my bum 90% of the day.

I actually need new jeans, these are getting a hole in the bottom middle from sitting in them all the time.

God I hate pants shopping, it's so hard to find something that fits.

I've actually found so far that all my old 32" waist clothes - whilst still fitting around the waist - will ride up around the ankles with the more pump my quads have :( Jean shopping has been a chore as I like slim fitting straights (NOT SKINNYS!), which are hard to come by.

Most places, a straight pair of 32" will be too small, and a 34" will be too baggy on the leg whilst fitting the weight a tad too comfortably. What's that I hear you cry? "Why, MoNkeE, with all your random capital letters, why don't you try a 33" pair?". What ho? This thought has already crossed my mind. Shame it hasn't crossed the mind of most trouser manufacturers, who don't seem to make odd number sizes :@

I have the same issue, can anyone recommend a good place to get jeans with wider legs that are not to baggy if you get what I mean, I'm not 16 anymore! :/

I've always had large Thighs - even before I started weight lifting.

All the Jeans I have owned are always tight around my thighs, with very little movement, however, even though I'm around a 33" waist, I get a much better fit from 32" Jeans, 34" Jeans are just too wide.

I normally go to Tesco and TK Maxx for my Jeans; but I anticipate that it will be harder to purchase Jeans that fit me the more I go to the Gym.

ahhh, so it's not just me then. A couple of my once favourite jeans are now skin tight around the thigh area, but fine elsewhere.

Downside to having a home gym - pushing to get that last rep out benching, only to see a garage spider the size of a 10kg plate descending right down towards your face! Think my adrenal gland blew its entire load directly into my heart! Project for the summer....clean and spider proof.

Skull on the protien I've still got 2kg of unflavoured left so not to fussed £20 or can leave it? Not being cheeky but not sure on flavoured stuff so its only a tester for me really if not then i'll have to move it on.

No spiders at the gym I go to however bits of the dumbells often chip off (paint or something) and have gone in my eye/mouth a few times and my friend was getting spotted by someone and a bead of his sweat dropped into my friends mouth, same friend also had a close encounters with some guys balls when getting spotted once(no homo lol.)

Looking for some feedback on the direction I should take my training after my week off. Here's how it looks like at the moment.

Week 1 - Strength
Week 2 - Strength
Week 3 - Strength
Week 4 - Mass
Week 5 - Mass
Week 6 - Mass
Week 8 - Mass
Week 9 - OFF

What I'm a little undecided about is whether I should go back to mass after my week off or strength. My main goal is to gain lean mass. I'm thinking mass, as my body may respond well to having a week off, but on the other hand having a week off will do wonders for starting 3 weeks of strength.

Poorish session tonight. First time in since last Friday (?) due to having a stinking cold all week.

Started with squats again

1X5X 70kg
4X5X 80kG

Knew I was struggling half way through that lot so decided I'd just do deadlifts and the session was a bit better.

Started with 1X5X 70 kG
then
2X5X 90 kG
2X5X 100kG

Well chuffed with that, first time I've ever seen 100kG in a lift so it compensates for the rest feeling like crap :)

Quick question though, with deadlifts I mainly feel it in the hamstrings. Am I probably doing something wrong? I thought it was mainly the back being targeted.

Well I'm back up to 15st, and weights are progressing up. Managed 200kg deads for reps this afternoon. So quite happy about that. 150kg squats was hard work though - but nice and deep as always. It's coming back! My appetite has started to increase significantly too. :)

Good to have you back in the game FF!

Some nice chap gifted me a lacross ball after seeing me struggle to do some mobility work/myofascial release stuff with a small medicine ball. The pain has now moved up to an extreme level, but it's so worth it. An added funny aspect is that the stretching area is in front of the cardio machines and people have no idea what I'm doing :D

Had an all right session today. Did a bit more bicep work today to complement my Biceps and Chest from Tuesday; I don't really like doing Biceps, Triceps and Back on the same day, but some of the Back exercises do Biceps as well and I thought maxxing out my Preacher Curl won't do much harm.

Narrow Grip Pull Ups: 7;
Wide Grip Pull Ups: 4; (not sure why these have gone down)
Bent Over Rows: 14/12/8 reps @ 45kg;
Row Weight Machine: 40.8kg x12, 46kg x 10, 46kg x 6 reps;
Lat Pull Down Machine: 20.4kg x12, x8 reps;
Captain Chair: x15, x11 reps;
Rope Pull Down: 11kg x12, 13kg x8 reps;
Pushups: 25, 15 reps;
Crunches: 15 reps;
Preacher Curls: 4 reps @ 30kg.

Forgot all about Deadlifts today; that will have to wait until next week, Legs are on Saturday, I may do some Shoulder work (Shrugs & Delts) as well.

Every session I do some Abdominal work. I think if I squeeze my Abs with every exercise I do, I may get better results as well, but they're definitely in need of a lot of work.

I also had for Dinner some Salmon, Chicken Wings, Mixed Veg and after I gave that some time to process, had some Cottage Cheese.

I need to add more Carbs and a bit of Fats to my diet, as it's very Protein-rich.
