Was going to square away a 230kg squat today. Turns out the stuff the physio gave me to activate my glutes worked hella good, my arse busted out of my rugby shorts at the bottom of 215kg... *sigh*

Typical! Had to bail the bar because I laughed and the slight difference in tension at the bottom pulled my hips sideways which did not feel good. Not a small tear either, top to bottom down the left side. Walking around Sainsbury's afterwards was breezy.

Time to invest in some EVEN BIGGER shorts, if they even exist.

Oh big shorts exist, believe me lol
 
Morba from what I've seen in my local gym the weight hits the floor and bounces a small amount, there's never any resting of the weight. I thought the whole point of a deadlift was to lift it from a complete rest position each time.

Unless it's really light weights, I can't see why it would be of any benefit, a bounce would lose constant tension and at the point you pull but the weight stops bouncing there will be a big jolt.
I really doubt it adds anything to the lift, I could be wrong though.
 
I've got a feeling that I will find the same thing once I get back on it. Swimming tires my legs!
Doing a swim everyday this week, 60 lengths last night, 70 today, try and get 100 in tomorrow!
The first 30 today were hard work :(
 
I carry mine all over, I find a wider distribution is better... oh wait, that's a bad thing right? :D


Aaaaanyway... Just stroked 100 breasts in the pool, or something like that.
Followed by 2 scoops protein shake, 2 apple n cinnamon bagels with jam.

Worst thing abbot swimming during day is its mostly old people.
Though there was a stunner in yesterday and an even nicer one today. Didnt notice her until she got out of pool as face wasn't much... body was stunning! In a white string bikini mmmmm hehe
