Interval jogging tonight. Week 2 of couch to 5k. Never really jogged before.

Put the kids to bed then I think I'll get the dumbbells out. Anywhere I can pick up a dumbbell routine for home with no bench?

Oh the disappointment about just getting off the metro to hobble to the gym and receiving a text saying that the gym was closed due to a damaged lock. I got off, crossed over to the other platform and came home again. RIP gains. At least it's the last week of my current cycle so an extra day of rest isn't really going to do any harm.

RIP gainz.

Good news I'm slowly getting back en forme. Managed a relatively comfortable 180 on squats and a fast double 220 deads. Slowly slowly catchy monkey...

If it makes you feel any better, I am having to (air) squat like a fat Powerlifter to minimise my hip pain. I went out into the gym this evening and found the bar harder than I thought it would be... :(

Only thing I take really in creatine mono, only thing *really* thats had any research. Other than that.. Nothing from Holland & Barrett ;)

Doesn't make me feel better. Don't like seeing Bros struggling. :(

If that's your perspective, then you should probably do some more research. :)

Please do tell.. Yes you can take more BCAA's, liver support(this however I will agree with taking if taking something like certain steroids ect), CLA's various other products. However.. You will find that most people that actually competed in BB the priests, lambo's heck anyone without there own supplement range, will say they took nothing... Well other than the only thing that will WORK.. AAS.

That highlighted bit right there, if you can show me some research on so called liver support supplements that show they have any beneficial effects then please do.

Started 5x5 stronglifts on Tuesday. Spent most of January just getting fitter with cardio, swimming etc.

God my legs ache today!

Hmmm ok, it's widely accepted that many supplements do work if you talk to the uneducated masses who love a bit of shiny marketing.

I don't think I take either Liv52 or MT for the shinny packaging. I do take it to limit damage to my live while taking other substances.. That certainly do work however are slightly toxic.

Yet you take creatine because it's the only thing with any real research behind it in your eyes, but you'll happily snack on some liver support because well it's what everyone else does so therefore it must do something.

Do you see where I'm coming from? If these things worked they'd be used in the treatment of liver disease, to be fair there is one supplement people take for liver support that does actually have some medical backing and that's NAC but that is not contained in either of the supplements you're talking about.
