Push+Pull combined into a 2hr workout... as I'm off skiing for a week tomorrow. Promised myself I'll use the hotel gym for a deload week, however gash it is, rather than doing absolutely nothing... we'll see how that pans out.

For triceps isolation, what do you guys favour?

I have stuck to rope pushdown (Push Day) but think i may add dips into this or instead of. I also add in tricep cable overhead...thing...sorry don't know the exact term! :o

Easily managed last weeks squat session. No idea what happened to me last week!

CGBP and narrow push downs using the v bar. Sometimes lying overhead tricep extensions.

It's going to spread regardless. I'm going to wash my hands at the end of a gym session and make sure I don't touch my face during my sets.

Just remember, regular exercise boosts the immune system :)

Any of you thinking of reducing gym frequency until this corona virus thing starts to go away?

Yep, I'm very much considering taking a break from the gym until things (hopefully) improve. I've seen the advice about disinfecting equipment before and after you use it and making sure you don't touch your face until you've washed your hands, but I imagine the knurled parts of barbells and dumbbells are probably very hard to thoroughly disinfect, so I'm a bit concerned about doing weights in particular.

I’ve taken a break just because I’ve been ill. Self isolating in fact.

I’ll either go back next week or the week after.

I stopped at the beginning of week 4 of madcows. Should I go back and repeat week 4 or start back at an earlier week because I’m guessing I’ll have lost strength?

You might get away with it after one week but any longer and not only will you struggle due to losing the momentum but you will get crazy doms from the inactivity.

Disclaimer... I got not experience with MadCows I speak in general terms about lifting.

Haven't seen any disinfectant around my PureGym yet, going in soon.

Have been thinking about a break as place is a bomb site at best of times when it comes to the free weights area. Going by the smell of some people and how some don't even wash hands after handling their hot dogs in the toilet, washing hands probably isn't high on their list of priorities.

Most people attending gym aren't even in the demographic group that's at the big risk of this virus. This makes you realise what utter selfish ****** people are.

Sadly, yes. I was quite ill up until Thursday and was really looking forward to going back but as it stands at the moment I don't think it's wise, especially as I work in the healthcare industry and have regular contact with pregnant women. I have a work gym that's rarely used by the staff so considering going there for the foreseeable future. It's a tip, doesn't even have a rack and has possibly the worst DB tree I've ever seen, but it's better then nothing and they have a few machines I could use. Really sucks as I was making great progress, but not much that can be done about it really.

Home gym, so no :)

Lucky swine! My GF has a massive conservatory and I've been thinking about buttering her up to the idea of getting a rack and a bench (with the idea that it'll only be used until this blows over... :P), but the half decent ones look to be fairly expensive even when second hand.
