Yes that's what I was thinking of. Mounted on the wall but supported on the floor. Where did you get they from?

I've actually got over 300kgs of weight but usually don't put them all back because.... Well it's my gym!

That's not mine but that's what I'd make as I am a structural steel welder fabricator :D

Fancy making me one? :D
If I have to order steel and faff about... No.
If I have stock and the time... maybe but I don't have the time at the moment since gym is taking priority over everything else besides work, sleep and nutrition. :o :D
I'm very much on a "concentrate on one thing at a time and go deep with it" mentality right now...
I'm even paying a garage to work on my car projects instead of doing it all myself, which has in 35 years of car ownership... never happened before.

Weighed in at 98.3kg yesterday, an all time high for me. It definitely helps with moving some weight and keeping my lifts progressing :). If I could hit 100kg that would be a huge moment for me, especially since I usually lose weight over July/August usually. At least I know I can now push my weight back up quickly in the autumn. Have had to buy 2XL tops for the summer :D

Well on the way to a 250kg squat and 180kg bench with the reps/sets not feeling unreasonable.

No homo and all that but is there a thread where you post your progress pics and suff in here or is this it?

Never made one, used to post updates in our annual powerlifting thread, but we don’t have one this year. I occasionally post here and will post some of my bigger lifts, if successful, later in the year.

I pile them on the base of my rack, figure it gives it some more stability!

I often get asked the question, but probably not. Mostly just do it for fun, I’d worry competing could turn it into too much of an obsession, I struggle with days/time off enough as it is. I’m also not keen to push my deadlift anymore.

Yeah I get that. I'm too busy to even consider it. I do it now to maintain more than anything. Age is having its impact. Translating it to BJJ now which actually is giving me quite an advantage despite my age.

You've all been around the forum as long as I have, so I'm guessing most of you are also past their prime years...
I'll be 50 this year :(
Wish I'd started this sooner as I've always been "into it" just never committed to it religiously like I am now. In some way I feel like I'm on a hiding to nowhere with it but still, at the same time think I'll be better off later in life having started now rather than never. Somehow doubt I'll ever be "jacked" though.
