I forgot to ask in your old thead - is one of your headlamps steamed up? If so, remove the black plastic covers from the back of your headlamp and they will demist :). They're not needed unless you jetwash your engine bay.

Yes, its quite common with e36's..... Cheers mate! :) - I'll have a look. :)

jetwash the engine bay? - after nearly killing my M52 engined e38 doing the same? - no chance! :o;):D

De-tango works, I love it on mine,

M50 Inlet manifold & Throttle body and a remap is certainly on my wish list - it makes quite a difference to the strangled M52 engine.
 
I'll keep an eye on this thread too :). Sorting some rust spots on mine today (couldn't find Morea Green anywhere, very annoying). I'll get some pics.
 
Actually, not to crash the thread, but can anyone identify my hideous wheels?. They were advertised as BBS wheels but I can't find a similar BBS rim (not had one off to check).

Naah, makes it something its not imo, the M52 mod is far higher up my list of to do things, if I'm going to get a kit for an e36 saloon, I'd rather have the real thing i.e. an M3.

That said, yours looks the mutts..... :cool:

ill see if i can find pics, but typically its on 3.0 M3s etc and they look well ard.

To my mind, kitting an e36 is effectively the same thing.... :confused:

I'm frequently passed by cars like yours, with the M bumpers etc, and invariably feel a tad dissapointed when its becomes apparent its not what I thought it was.

As I say,still it looks good especially on cars like yours, but its just not something that particularly floats my boat. Obviously its for you and good on you for it! :) I'd have the kit on an M3 Saloon gladly, but, only because thats how it came, the incognito approach is more for me these days.

Doubtful that I'll ever realistically buy one, but, my dream car has always been the non-kitted e28 M5 - Wolf's & Sheeps clothing & all that I guess.
