I haven't got much to add as I have no experience in paid employment but I wish you all the best Fox.

As others have said £27k in Cornwall with GCSE's isn't that bad.

If there is a chance to increase your salary at work it might be worth going for even if you don't enjoy the work that much. This is because if you end up changing jobs at least you can say to your potential employer that you've been promoted recently, which shows that you've continued to work hard.

Sorry, I'm really confused. You mentioned £40 profit a day before corp tax, are you set up as a company? If so what's its name?

****(just saw it listed in google not fair on 86JR) ltd. £8k in assets last account.

13 amazon feedback in last year. 295 total assuming started trading on amazon as soon as incorporated its 295 since 2012.

Only company he's linked to at director level that is.

I've got so much more but I'm at the creepy level already I think :(.

Last time he got ripped to shreds on here (I think it was a ranty 'unemployed people should just start a business in their mum's house like I did' thread) he almost seemed to understand why people couldn't take him seriously. Every new thread is like the self-awareness reset button gets pressed.

I can see why you're living like a king, £40 a day  What a haul.

Well, at least his mum has half of that £40 a day profit.

Edit: this does feel stalky now, I know why his username is what it is.

Indeed 50/50 split. No dividends/paye so total gross for the year was £8.1k for the year.

Assuming cash/stock has been purchased from profits. Pretty sure there's another thread that says his mum put up a fair whack to begin with(might even be a loss).

I'm not hating on 86JR by any means just its all a bit suspect.

Pudney and arknor could you remove the company name from your quotes of me please. Just saw this thread appear in google. Even if it is bull its a bit unfair in my opinion just incase a future investor googles it.

That was first year of trading, buying old stock and selling on Amazon. I don't do that anymore, other than when a really good deal comes along. Since May 2014 I have done £800 in profit for example (just selling hardback books).
I think a £90 loss is not bad for a first year, considering it was all started on credit cards and student loan cash. I still have a few grand (at trade price) of stock to shift too I just have not had time to do that yet.
Then I moved onto other things (including) affiliate marketing, KDP, Ebay, etc.

I don't make £10k a month I have no idea where that figure came from. I have £3k, £5k, £500 months, as low as £25 one month and as high as £6k so it averages out nicely.

Certainly not struggling, considering if I want a day off I just take one, I work about an hour on weekends and about 5-6 hours per day in the week.

Nice to know I have stalkers, am I supposed to put the kettle on? Reminds me to get my company and director addresses changed to my accountants when I move house :)

As for house sold price, how can you know that? it has not been valued for around 7 years. Guessing you judge it off neighbouring house prices. How clever

Yeah pretty much, size of your house compared to neighbours sold price extrapolating for inflation.

Nothing special by any means.

I believe the £10k per month came from this;

£10k a month within a year is do-able. I can think of several ways still valid in 2014. Three of which I do already.
