OV3RCLOCK3R(Has anyone noticed that when taking screenshots with fraps said:
Don't forget that writing a screenshot is quite demanding if you are using high resolution. This is because:

a) You have to write a large file to the hard disk (large relative to the timeframe we are talking about here, maybe 10-20ms when normally running at 50-100fps)
b) CPU takes a massive hit doing image compression e.g. jpg/png.

As mentioned above, shadows are very slow in NFS:MW (as they are in many games) and should be disabled unless you have a very high end PC. Even in the menu where you set the graphics settings you can see the difference, going from say 60-80fps just by turning them off.
