*** The all new Apple iPad thread - Keep all iPad stuff in here ***

Question on PDFs, I have a few PDF pages of magazines I used to design and layout, would be cool to be able to show them on the iPad.

I have PDF Reader Pro, so was wondering, how do I actually get a PDF file onto the iPad to open with the App?

Has anyone here got iWork pages? As I am wondering dan I create doc on it and put it on drop box and finish off on main system? As don't think this will work will it? Or what other ways is there?

Think you have to connect it up to do so, tho I saw somthing in the menu on hte iPad about a Beta send test?

just checked on teh Home screen that shows all yoru document, under the preview you should have an options/ export button, that give you the options, wirelessly it looks the best way is to email them, not sure ho that works tho with pictures etc.

It seems you can email it but there is no option in dropbox to upload a doc, only video or photo.

once exported, where is it? Since there is no file manager, i can't find it !

It seems you can put it in iWorks but not Dropbox.

It works !!!!

Created in MS Office Word 2010 Beta, put in dropbox in my Windows 7 PC.

It pops up in Dropbox in my iPad, open and it works, albeit with this message first.

I just though the whole reason behind this iWork for iPad is so we can work on the move and finish at the main system with our iMac or the like? Unless something coming soon on the new os for iPad?

The email seems to be fine, has worked from be sending then opening.

Obviously this is only one page tho.

Has anyone used teamviewer on their iPad?
If so how does it look, like on an iphone its pretty poor as of the small screen and such big with the iPads larger screen

Thinking of getting the small WiFi one for my parents (mainly my mum). Anyone have experience of 60+ age group, non-computery people, using them?

Can't see it being a problem really.. There extremely easy to use - as the iphone is - with a bit of practise

Though what they using it for? Like browsing? If anything the problem would be typing i would have thought
