Hope the wi-fi connectivity thing works.. i have had it going down a few times, it does reconnect though.

I was downstairs and it was fairly low a couple of bars, went back upstairs closer to the router and the signal bars didn't change, had to turn wi-fi on and off to get it back to normal.

Could i use the ipad as satnav/manual directions via google maps in my car aswell as keeping up with FB updates etc ? I guess all i need is a wireless hotspot, of which in plymouth i know of loads!

So glad I got this device in the end. Got a 32gb wifi and use my android phone as a wireless hotspot. IOS works supeisngky well on a tablet and typing is suprisngly fast and easy. Battery is fantastic aswell.

Love some of the iPad specific mags and games great stuff. Easily best gadget I ever owned. Can't bielive I was so dismissive when it first came out. I urge anyone who was like me to just try it. The screen will win you over.

Ive only ever had the wifi problem once. It was odd, just that one night, and it disconnected twice that night for no reason but it never again in the 7 weeks that I've had it.

My light is on for the first time today and my screen is scratched the hell out of.. not noticeable unless you have the light shining on it.. sure it wasn't like that before i put the screen protector on :S

Don't want to bother taking the protector off though to see if its under it as well!

Well I've had my iPad, 64GB 3G version, for over 10 days now so I thought I would post my impressions so far.

Like a few on here I'm a bit surprised at how much I've been using it, so much so that my laptop has became redundant; except for downloading podcasts and syncing them. It's so handy to just pick it up and browse the web. I was worried about the screen for the first few days and being spoiled with my iPhone 4 but after seeing a few HD episodes of Heroes on it, I'm delighted with quality, it looks fantastic. Even YouTube looks really good(on Wifi). I hate believeing the hype that some reviewers gave it but it really is excellent as a consuming device, be it the web or video.

I wasn't sure about a case as I wanted to keep it in it's dock so I ended up getting the iSee Contour one straight from Apple, should have it in the next day or two.

I was waiting for the Notion Ink Adam, but decided last night "what the hell" I will get one of these instead, just gotta wait till the end of the month :(

Picked up my 32 gig wifi last night and absolutely loving it so far. What do people recomend as the must have apps and games for it?

I'll be honest here - I don't see the use of screen protectors. How can a film of plastic improve the durability of a glass screen? Glass is pretty hard already, and for transport I can't see how they'd be better than a good case like the Snugg.

Am I missing something here?

One thing really annoys me about safari

If yup change from say tab 1 to tab 3 and then back, tab 1 might reload its a pain I don't see why it does it

Anyone else having problems on tvcatchup.com?

I log in, click any CH and bit ask me to login
And it loops forever like that
