*** The all new Apple iPad thread - Keep all iPad stuff in here ***

Anybody else have any problems with their ipad not keeping time correctly? Mine seems to waver around dropping 10 minutes here and there ... this morning when I checked my mail at about 6.15 it said 22.30! Really strange ... any ideas? Anyone else having any problems?

Simple idea, but have you set the timezone correctly? :o

Nice case. One thing on their website makes me laugh

One of the neatest features of BookBook for iPad is the stealthy security it delivers. Tucked inside BookBook, no one will ever see your iPad, even when it’s right under their nose. Sitting on a coffee table, dorm room or desk, BookBook for iPad looks like a vintage piece of literature, not a fancy iPad. It’s a great disguise and a simple way to reduce the risk of your iPad getting stolen.

That makes sense as old books are never valuable so never stolen.

A certain chain of shops, with rip off prices, stocks them. If you go to their website and do a stock search in your area for the model you want then you may get lucky.

I just did a search for Coventry, listed as your location, and 12.9 miles away they seem to have some.

I got an iPad Friday, thanks to selling my broken MacBook. Love using it and have found many cool apps.

I don't think I would feel the need for it if I had a MacBook too, but without it compliments my iMac perfectly.

Although, after playing with mine Friday night, my wife went out and bought one yesterday!

Looks like a wicked case though how does it feel? Also if you have it open the left side looks horrible. Umm £45 so same price as DoDo iirc

The internal side of that case really let's it down, extremely high quality outer let down by a shoddy inner and the elastic band holding it in looks naff!

Like 7? Lol

Apple case, silicon back, hard plastic back, felt slip case thing, some leather one that looks like the apple one (rubbish), dodocase, bookbook case.

I use the dodocase for my commute, apple case when I go on a shoot.

Consdering getting one, going to USA in a few weeks and coincides nicely as I have bought a new place. $499 seems okay for one converted to GBP.

Girlfriend and I already have (between us) a fast PC, Macbook Pro, Dell Studio 15, Samsung NC10 and a Thinkpad, though can't harm to get an iPad.

Can they be used to control music etc on Windows Media Player, or link to Windows Media Centre? Would make a nice remote if so.
