Very interesting, but how on earth is this even possible? Surely the whole fun of the iphone/ipad must be the apps, so many free ones, so many cheap and very good ones.

There always going to be an iPad 2, 3, 4 etc....
The first one came out ine June here....12 months cycle...8/9 months wait on that time scale.

Ok, seriously thinking of giving into my urge to get one of these tomorrow.....but still need a bit of last minute persuasion and clarity on a few things....
I'm thinking of getting the 3G model for those occasions when I do need the extra connection option however in doing that I am going to have to compromise on the storage and get the 16gb model rather than the 32gb.....
For those that use thier ipad a lot do you see the 16gb being a problem? I intend to use my ipad as a "lite"laptop. I only have a work laptop so will be using for when in front of the TV ,a bit of personal/work travelling I do and taking to uni for my evening course....store some music and media on it as well....? I used to have an iphone 3G 8gb model and I only just went over that but stored a lot of music on it.
Any experiences?

I have the 16gb wi-fi and it would be nice to have the 32 but its not a NEED. I can store all of my music (sort of) on my ipod touch 32gb which makes more sense then putting it on a big iPad. As for tv/film I just delete it once i've watched it... Can store enough film/tv for "a short trip" with space left for apps which take up a lot of room since I have a lot of them
if it was 32gb wifi VS 16gb wifi and 3g ----- I would take the 3G option. I had to buy a mi-fi because I didn't buy the 3g version. (That's a option you could take into consideration, but it means carrying a tiny extra device around)

Any advice from members on best place to sell a jailbroken iPad 32gb Wifi? Not sure there is enough interest in the FS forum here (havent listed) but suggested places would be appreciated.
/shrugs. I think most people sell to friends or family really.
Ebay is OK but the fees and all that.. Could try on the MM, nothing to loose.

Anyone else had problem with the 3G signal either going or not repicking up after airplane mode after the last OS update?

Coming in early November iirc. I share your pain. Mines a month old and crammed with so much crap that it looks horrible.
