Getting really fed up of YouTube this morning
Load it up (it auto goes to subscription page), error message, click on favourites, click back to subscriptions, wait a while....good there they are, click a video, watch a few minutes, make it smaller, start typing a comment..
Then the damn application closed, this happened twice..
On the m website of YouTube safari decides to close sometimes at start of videos..I can't win

Can someone also try tvcatchup please and tell me if it works and most importantly, jailbroken or not?

TVC staff were saying it's because of the jailbreak. I restarted the device and the home page of tvc was working, before it was a list, text only. And the streaming didn't work.
It's out of beta now, and well I had a advert

that's just asking to fall off!! Interesting Idea tho, i will eventually get a mount or stand of some sort, but for right now, my ipad internet use has made my pc redundant outside of downloading stuff and syncing to ipad.

Got my hands on an iPad for the first time yesterday... I want one, but I'm going to wait for iPad2.
I am looking for a stand/frame like the one pictured for the current iPad though, but it has to be 100% sturdy. It can be as ugly as you like as long as it holds the thing in place and resists touches well. So, if anyone has any recommendations, I'm all ears.

Bought my wife an iPad for her birthday and must admit I am seriously impressed 
Can anyone recommend a good app for streaming photos to the device, sort of like AirVideo but for images? Would be nice for her to be able to browse our photo collection which sits on my home server.

The only one i've found is ImageBank, but I'm not sure how well it works on the iPad...
Good evening gents, so i've forayed into this thread for advice on the iPad as opposed to creating a new thread.
I just sold my HTC Desire for £300 (with all my docking station, etc rubbish) to fund a purchase ill actually use (prefer my 3GS over the Desire but thats another story).
I have played with iPad's on a few occasions and i really like them, and i'm looking into buying one to keep me entertained on my 24 hour flight to Australia at Xmas. However, i have a few reservations:
1. Whats the battery life like when in actual use?
2. iPad 2.0 - i'm worried about splashing £500 and the 2nd gen one coming out 2 weeks later. Is there any concrete dates / strong rumours about this device? If its only coming out in April/May then ive got no problem buying one now and one again in May

can only answer 1. and that is its amazing, the battery life on my 64gb 3g is out of this world last longer than any other device i own and am sure that includes my iPhone lol

I am torn between a Macbook AIR and iPad. Now i know the differences and advantages of each so im not looking for them but i do have a few questions..
1)If i went for a iPad wifi can i connect to HTC Legend (Android) to get 3g connection?
2)I am sure i have asked before but just to double check i can use and be warrantied in the uk if bought from USA.
3)Whats the best/cheapest case that i can get for the iPad.
