So what are the best covers for these things? and are they worth bothering with if i'm just keeping mine at home?

I need advice on what the best lead is to buy for connecting my iPad to my new Lg 42" LCD telly. It has the yellow/red/white phono lead inputs, but do i want the component or composite for best playback on the telly?
i want it primarily for iPlayer, as any film content i wanna watch on the telly is already connected to it from my NAS via ethernet cable.

I had that question too, thinking of getting one for my Mum as our comp is on the way out.
Just picked up an iPad yesterday, chuffed with it so far. I think my Mum will love it (I HOPE!!). Seems pretty idiot proof too!

Why they changed it I don't know as the majority of polls I have seen prefer it the old way... I've never even seen anyone suggest a mute switch idea..

YAY Only downside is it feels like it takes a tiny bit longer to rotate on some apps, but that's just being picky. Horray 
And umm I was just in safari using the switch and it was rotating the screen lol.. Then it wasn't locking..

Quite a lot of icons etc. Though the main thing what is bad about it is, you can't drag and drop apps into folders. Have to load up another app ad then click what folder then add, bla bla
Yes, mines jailbroken. But in the past my tethered jailbreaks have worked like:
*Device shuts down
*Turn it back on
*USB symbol, need to plug into PC and jailbreak again
Though on this jailbreak for my iPad its:
*Turn off
*Turn on...
*Cydia won't load and presumably all over jailbreaking apps.
*But iOS still works.
