Though it seems like the switch becomes a rotation lock but it's still also a mute switch =/

Ridiculous update, the only disadvantage with the switch is that over time it might not work.... but no one uses it that much.

I used to turn the volume down so it's at zero. That works.

Unlike a phone, you either want it at full blast so you can hear it ringing or silent. That's where the mute comes in, I see no point of that on the iPad.

I think most peoples arguments is about email alert noises and such..

I just found something out (well read it on macrumors) double tapping the space gives you a full stop followed by a space.
I've never noticed that..Fail since I've used an iPod touch since 1st gen was released

Well hit home or power, slide to unlock, hold down volume down for a second. Press power again

I will never ever ever use this. If I have it out for some reason in a college lesson (tut-tut, my iPad and MyFi puts the college network at risk apparently) I'll just turn the volume down..

I can still change the volume even when its locked...

If something is playing, like a song. But If nothing os playing it wont wok so alerts and such will still go off

I checked the stickys and JB talk is apparently allowed so I'll stick my question on here

I recently used limera1n to jailbreak my 3.2.2 iPad and the wifi since doing so has been patchy, cutting out intermittently. Some forums suggest resetting network settings which I've done but still no joy.

What have others used to jb 3.2.2 ipads?

I was using limera1n. Or was that 3.2.. can't remember! I never upgraded to the one before 4.2 which I think was 3.2.2

Now using redsn0w for 4.2

I used greenpoison on mine as i couldnt get lime to work. Had no problems so far with it.

I'm pretty sure you probably already know but if you double click the home button then swipe to the far left you'll find rotation lock in there. It's annoying they swapped the rotation lock, I wish they had at least made it an option.

JB talk is aloud now?

I havent upgraded mine yet im still waiting for an untetherd JB.

Has anyone bought an Advent Vega yet? 10 inch android tab £249 im tempted to sell my ipad before ipad 2 is out and just buy the Vega. I much prefer t Android and my ipad is only used for browsing so i wouldn't miss the app store too much
