Why are people buying the Apple case? Have you seen the thing, it looks like a load of crap :p

I'm interested in a Neoprene sleeve.

For me it the ability to have the iPad sit on the desk on it's own and be able to use the wireless keyboard for those times when I'm not couch surfing with it. Did consider the dock, but then you can't use it in landscape mode.

I know you could probably buy a plate stand to do the same job, but then I also like to have a bit more protection on the unit itself to stop scratches getting on to it.

the case looks great if you are taking it anywhere outside the house, plus it allows it to sit tilted up that way you dont need to hold it upright when typing or it doesnt need to lay flat :)

Another thought, I assume we can just (once they're out) walk into a Vodafone/O2/Orange shop and get a SIM? As people will probably change their minds, or find that the one they chose has crap coverage etc. And of-course there's the dirty importing tax-dodgers ;).

Be prepared to spend a lot on Apps guys :D

I paid a little over the odds for my 32Gb, but had it a fortnight now and not a day has passed where I've not spent at least a couple of hours on it :p
 
Should have a 64GB iPad Wi-Fi + 3G on Friday, if things go smoothly :cool:

Non universal apps suck :(
 
Most i have spent on a App is 5.99 which was for Crosswords i believe. Great app. Spent 0.59 on Bike Game, £2.99 on Angry Birds HD, a couple of quid on a few others, GoodReader, Sudoku game, Freecell and a few more.
 
I take it these wont be subsidised?

Need to Upgrade/New contract for my mobile broadband. Wouldn't mind going for an iPad if there is a chance of them doing it?

Obviously i can just go for a free laptop again, sell it and buy the iPad.

So any talks about it?
 
Can I hope airmouse will work on it? It's a small wet dream I have that it will! Love producing too so hope to see the quality music synths come out for it!

JUST for a micro sim with 10 gig :o

For £30 you get 15gig, a dongle and a laptop. Id love to know who decides on prices.

Looks like Wifi model for me

£10 a month for 3GB - I doubt you'd exceed that. (Judging by the fact I only used 3GB over almost 10 months use on my 3GS.

Well i was planing to JB and use it for torrents as well as normal use :p

Might wait to see if people try it with there sims for mobile broadband and see if it will work that way.
 
I don't personally get that... why not just d/l that sort of stuff on your pc?

The mind boggles what you're getting! lol! It's a mobile device, I think i'd rather save the excessive torrenting / altbinz to the desktop!
