I think you'll find that those of you whose order status is now showing as 'shipped', means that UPS have them, but wont release them on the basis of Apple not letting them, thats how it worked in the US anyway.

Hope Im wrong, but I wouldn't hold your breath for a delivery early next week :/
 
I haven't received an email and the Apple website doesn't mention shipped, but I can no longer cancel my order :D

COME ON UPS MAKE A MISTAKE AND DELIVER THEM ALL MONDAY
 
Anyone have any first hand experience of the apple case ?

I like the look of it but am unsure as people have said that once folded back, it doesnt return back to normal very well.

Im still struggling to decide between the 32Gb 3g and the 64Gb.
And wether to pre-order or wait till demand is back to normal so i can get one from an Apple shop.

Here's a thought that someone might have an idea about.

Come Friday when a lot of people get their iPads in Europe, how will the App Store handle lots and lots of people trying to download apps?
 
So many mates have attacked me for deciding to get an iPad. I can't wait to see their faces when I show it to them in its truly incredible physical form. I don't think people realise quite how amazing the thing looks when you see it in the flesh.
 
Mine has now shipped. I wonder who will be the first to post here from their new iPad (people who have pre ordered from Apple UK Store). It'll be interesting to see if anyone gets it before the 28th, maybe on the Thursday.

First one of us to post a picture of OCUK forums on their iPad is the winner of nothing
 
Ah ok I think I did mine at midday-ish, as long as it's here on Friday I'm not fussed!

Need to figure out how to keep it nice until the Dodo's arrive! Might get a cheapo case off the auction site!
 
I'm sat outside in the sun, posting this from my iPad! Whilst the screen is usable I can't help but see my reflection in it (but it's not bad enough to make me go inside and get my Matte MacBook Pro out). Can anyone recommend any of the anti-glare screen coatings?
Someone told me that they also help with stopping fingerprints too..

Just noticed that the screen is Polarized. So wearing my Oakleys it's only possible to use the iPad in Landscape, switch to portrait and the screen is completely black.
