Having played with a work colleagues today my resistance has crumbled and I'm hoping to pop over to Those Who Must Not Be Named Who Wear Shirts Of A Certain Colour and do what you have done (they show plenty of stock at the store according to the on-line checker...)
 
Pre ordered mine from Apple but delivery was estimated June 7th. I was gutted!

So walked into my local NO COMPETITORS READ THE RULES, picked one up and cancelled the Apple pre-order. Its pointless to pre order!

Only managed to squeeze 5 minutes in at work today but so far its awesome! :D

No where here seems to have them or at least according to their websites. Nearest is MK not sure I can be bothered trekking over there.
 
Having had my PDA dying for the last few weeks, I need something to read ebooks on. So I just ordered myself a 16gb iPad 3g. Should be fun. :D

Got out of work early today.
Went trafford center.
Bought iPad 64Gb 3g + Three Sim card.
Got home.
Ordered Griffen ELAN passport for iPad w/express saturday delivery.
Currently syncing iPad.

Job done. :D

Anyone bothering with a screen protector?

First notes: It syncs FAR faster than my iPhone does.

I think i am gonig to get a vodafone sim card today, well, will see, and might even get an Apple Case too just as an alternative until the Dodo arrives.

What is the quality of the Apple case like ?

Dunno.
Didnt get one, the Apple ones look cheap & nasty, the other they had, the 'incase' case :p looked rubbish and overpriced, so i ordered myself this:

Nice and simple, professional looking, and i can store some gubbins in the pockets. :D

Anyone know of any good wallpaper sites for iPads?

Im not entirely sure if the place breaks the rules on competitors due to OCUKs expansion into other areas beyond just computers, but if so, can a mod edit this out please:
