*** The all new Apple iPad thread - Keep all iPad stuff in here ***

I guess the only thing that annoys me about that ipad is that most of the games are played on landscape, so you need to take the ipad out of the dock to play and I don't have a stand yet :P

Me stroking my stand that allows me to have the iPad in portrait AND landscape. Though not at the same time.

First post from my iPad. Liking it so far, although I must say I'm not blown away by it. I still have the protective layer on it incase I decide to take it back

P.s I'm not on the throne

Thats annoyed me.
30mins on the phone with three only to learn that aparently the Apple store have given me the £15 a month sim card not the £7.50 one. And i aparentely cant change it.:mad::mad:

Any ideas?
Can i change it or do i have to go through this rigmarol again with them in a months time?
Also, how do i cancel this contract? I know its rolling, but theyve setup a direct debit now...?

What do you mean? As far as I am aware, you don't sign an airtime contract - you just do it all via the Settings area of the iPad itself, regardless of carrier.

You can sign up to a rolling monthly service, per day, per week etc.

Tried getting a Vodafone sim in the vodafone store, they wouldn't let me have one, Apple store want me to sign up to a contract so all I got is the O2 one.....

Still loads left in the Apple Store in Brum, even though they are selling like hot cakes, it seems Apple have prepared well for it, and the delay launch means they have plenty in stock.

Nope, you have to activate the sim by phoning up.
Aparentely i can view/edit my three account from the iPad itself through Safari, so im gonna have a go when the connections live.

My first post from the iPad! Must admit I've noticed the wifi dropping a couple of times which is slightly disappointing.
