Mine only works first time half of the time :(. Thing is though it will work perfectly for a day, and then taking a few presses for another day. Odds are I'll take it to an Apple Store on a day when it's working fine!
 
Even though the phone is built solid, it needs insurance or some sort of cover on it because it breaks. I don't think I've ever had any phone break on me that wasn't my fault, and I've never spent over £200/£250 on a phone in the past. This was over twice that amount, I still sometimes wonder what I was smoking the day I purchased it :p and by taking such great care of it, and just 'using' it... it broke. Launch day models have around 120 days warranty left. I shall be speaking to them about that on Thursday when I go back to the shop.
 
Got a 3GS at the moment on awful O2, so the plan is to get back to Vodafone ASAP, but trying to hold out until the iPhone 5
 
Really need another case for my phone...want a bumper as it suits my needs fine...but having a lot of problems justifying TWENTY SIX pounds for one :(

I recently bought a Foof Pod (along with a Foof Bag for my MBP) and it's brilliant. Enables me to use the phone 'naked' but it's protected in my pocket. Only problem is that the camera lens gets scratched when its moved about on tables.

What dock does everybody use? Really need to buy one, getting annoyed at USB cables lying across my desk when it's charging.

Don't need speakers or anything like that, just wanted to know of any decent alternatives before I pay £25 for the official one.

Try a google search for "Apple iPhone 4 Bumper Compatible USB Cradle" and its the top link. its about £7 cheaper than the official version from apple and the phone does fit perfectly even with the bumper on :)

Question about updating with a restore point download.
Obviously you iPhone syncs and backs up every time you connect it.
You restore the phone with that download.
Does restoring it wipe the phone then it syncs everything back?

I've never know if you lose stuff i.e. texts other things.

Does iTunes backup texts?

Backup iPhone first
Upgrade to iOS 4.3 GM
Then restore your backup
All previous texts and photos back on the iPhone 4 :)
 
After my N900 broke, decided to get an iPhone 4 but its locked to 3 at the moment. I've paid £15 for an official carrier unlock.

Anyone know how long it takes to complete as I'm currently phone-less :(?
