Well I'm pretty sure you'll be able to reserve for store.

I bought my 3G from the Apple Store in lakeside on a new o2 contract.

I remember the o2 store that I queued up from 5am for in the morning got about 7 16gb's in, I was 8th in line.

That evening after work I went to the apple store and they had HUNDREDS still. On top of this, only the Apple store at launch had the white one!

Exactly what I intend to do. Going to buy the iP4, preferably from the Apple Store sometime today and lob my current Simplicity 20 sim into it. My 3G has already been sold for £310 so I'm sorted.
