Hey

wondering if anyone knows how to get Kaspersky 2010?

I've done a format on my pc and bought Kaspersky key, but on the 2010 model - however i can only get the 2011 version from the website and i'm guessing the 2010 key is not compaitable with that?

Got about 8 months left so don't really want to waste it!

Any help much appriciated.

Hey Gangster,

The 2010 key for the antivirus or internet security will work with the 2011 antivirus or internet security.

I just looked at Comodo and it's is downloading now.

I was thinking of trying a new AV as I keep having HEUR/HTML or such popping up as found and quarantined by Avira, within Avast I think it locates.

This is on my wee htpc, which for some reason cannot install Ad-aware SE?

cheers, it was comodo last time I tried it( I think it was the 3 version) were the defense crashed the PC...might have been Avast than as it was a arse with the updates and forced me to reinstall windows quite a few times ( updating issues) and I know AVAST liked trying to block trustedinstaller.exe its a hidden windows service for updates in case anyone wanted to know...in case thier avast pops up saying "rootkit found" make sure its in the right Dir through as some rootkits/virus indo name files after MS onces so be very carefull..

I m back with kerpersky atm on trail, everything works fine atm...must be my new shiny GPU :p...needless to say you gotta try all motives have you not...i was getting crashes after 5 minutes or so, so its was ethoir unstable overclock( very) or software base....like I siad it seems fine at this moment....

have you got anything else with comodo there?

is there anything i could use to monitor what the computer is connected to aka Urls as comodo does not log that as i want something with a web monitor, like kerpersky...unless kev antivirus does

Downloaded Comodo on recommendation from here as my old AV subscription ran out. I can't fault it so far! My computer seems faster too in terms of entering my password and it being "ready"

I'm looking at moving my anti-virus away from AVG Professional after I found out it is causing problems with multiplayer games using Source-based engines.

I've been looking at internet security suites and was thinking, is it worth running a software firewall aswell as a hardware one? My router runs a firewall already for the whole house.

Also, has anyone run Comodo, NOD32 or MSE successfully when playing TF2 or any other source-based game?

most router/hubs do anyways

software onces are easier to manage I think..hardware will require you to go on IE or whatever with its Ip addy to change something
