Still using Eset here and now switched over to v5 which runs perfectly just like v4 did imho. I also run MalwareBytes (free version - I see no point in buying it), SpywareBlaster and Spybot.

Stoner81.

Avast (Free Anti-Virus) & Threat Fire (Adds on to your current Anti-Virus to gain extra protection). They are both free to download, and are good quality.

Hi all,
not posted back here in a while but as a last resort I thought that the genius at OCUK might be able to help me out.

On almost all websites I get this screen:
dqpvgh.jpg

(This happens in Opera, Chrome and FF)

The page loads (youtube for example), then cuts to this, full screen, Firebug doesn't see any code from youtube just the redirected site, but it still has the same url..

I'm pretty sensible with my computer, I use MSE as my everyday anti-v and keep it up to date, along with occasion on-demand scans with Malwarebytes, Search and destroy and SUPERantimalware.

I've fully scanned with all of the above over the past day, cleared all cookies, caches ect, none returning anything that has stopped this bug.
I can't see any unusual processes or unexpected services running.

Any ideas on what else to scan with/do/anything?!

All feedback appreciated,

Jes

Edit: Just to clarify, I use MSE always on and the other just for on demand, MS built in firewall, W7 x64.

Download the trial of Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete at http://www.webroot.com/customerSupport/trialRegistration.php?trpd=WSAC&loc=GBR

It will take a second to download, a second to install and a couple of minutes to scan your PC.

You can run it alongside MSE and if it doesn't fix your problem you can uninstall it :-)

I would try super anti spyware, I had a nasty that only this would find.

Cheers for the advice but still no dice!
Left it overnight in safe mode to full deep system scan with SUPERanti spyware then Malwarebytes, both pulled up the odd tracking cookie but nothing much.
Problem still sort of persists but now I just get that screen on Youtube.. Weird.. Not that bothered at the moment but I'll keep scanning away!

I thought the trial was automatic? Once you fill in the form you should be sent a download link with a serial key.

Checked your spam folder?

Yeah it did give me a serial and download but it said the serial was incorrect, checked it a few times and assumed they would email me something.

I dont normally use a real time av i normally just use sandboxie and on demand scans. But recently got NIS2012 and its better than i thought so atm im running mbam pro & NIS2012. For freeware i normally just use sandboxie, on demand scans with drweb, hitman pro etc.

nod32 v MSE

what's people views, my nod32 licence just expired, and dunno if to pay £50 odd quid to cover the 5 pc's in my house, when MSE is free..
