Using Windows 10 - kind of surprised the built in MS tool would be better than a specific product, but will give it a shot.
I've been using AVG
AVG has gone down hill in the recent years.
Had AVG ever gone uphill as I've considered it a placebo for at least 7 years and wouldn't change my opinion on that.
Avira is the one to go with, lite on system resources and great detection.
These AV company's want you to believe its really easy to pick something up with scare tactics
Been using MSE and Defender since they came out and there fine
online scan with one of the so called better ones now and then as a backup just to check and never anything.
I certainly wouldn't pay for one again.
MSE/anti malwarebytes and common sense are all you really need.
