Any chance of some stats on the front page saying which people have acheived the most points in the last day, week and month?

I should have something like that up this weekend, but I'll add it to the list of feature requests so I don't forget.

Just noticed that a couple of games i've definitely played (and finished) ie COD3 and Bioshock, it has got me as not having played them

Correct! Limitation of the way I get the info- not much I can do about it (right now):

Q: I cannot see all the games I have played.

A: The program tracks your top five games played at the time the program is run, usually in the evening. Therefore if you have played a game but it is no longer in your top five, the program cannot 'see it'. Similarly, if you join the database the games you have played in the past cannot be 'seen'. This should be fixed in the future once I add functionality to scan Xbox Live profile pages.

The score on the database is the score you had the last time the database was updated- it is currently updated once per day. You can check what time this was on the front page.

A bit of a warning to everyone, Microsoft in their wisdom (or in the shoddy-ness of Live) have decided that the following gamertags no longer exist:

Because of this, my app has given you all a score of zero. Normal service will resume once you pop back into existence on Live. I'm looking into altering the code to 'ignore' you if this happens again, so that rather than having your score plummet then fly back up, it just ignores what happened. If I get this working, I will go back and fix all of the funky values in the database.

Today's update is done, everyone who 'disappeared' yesterday is back again. This has made the graphs a little funky for these people, I hope to get it cleared up this weekend.

As requested by Dan1984, the front page now has stats on the biggest gamerscore gains in the last day, week and month.

I've also fixed that values from the days Xbox Live was suffering from man flu, so the graphs look a little less wonky.

Everything is based on the snap shot I take of your gamercard each evening- basically if it's not on there it doesn't get recorded. For example I play six games today, the one that I played first is relegated to position six on my last played games and therefore doesn't appear in my top five- so it is not recorded.

It would be better if I could snap shot more regularly like the bigger sites do, but I can't find a way of doing it short of hiring an entire server.

once a day? like a certain time?

Today it was updated... now! Usually it's between 7:30 and 9pm each day. Currently exploring ways of making it more frequent.

Oh, and it looks like you have the biggest gamerpoint increase of the day

Could you do some sort of table of weekly score gains?

Can you elaborate on that? Do you mean a list of your gains on your gamer page, like a league table or something else?

Added a couple of days ago, forgot to update the thread.


Righty ho. I've updated the database update software and the website to handle gamertags that disappear or have been deleted. Commonly this is caused by either Xbox playing up, as it did before, or gamers who have changed their gamertag but forgot to let me know.

The leaderboard page now lists these 'orphans' at the bottom of the page. If you are on this list and have changed your gamertag, let me know what it is so I can update the site. If you are on the list and don't know why, post here or email me.
