The AMD Driver Thread

No overclocks on either GPU. Will test lowering the speeds later.

Could it be something other than memory? I was playing BF4 on Monday and had no issues with that.

Edit, there we go ^^^

I used to get that 'With a high memory overclock' on FarCry 3, no other game but FC3, had to relax the memory overclock just for that game.

some game are just harder on specific parts of the hardware than others.

Do people think that this is a driver issue or a game issue and is anyone else able to try test this?

"Does anybody else have vram issues when using two cards? My game runs fine at 4k on one card but when i enable the second it gets massive frame drop spikes and seems to increase vram usage ( yes i know vram is mirrored). I am using two 280x on newest drivers."

Anyone running GTA 5 Quadfire with dual 7990 cards. I'm getting a frequent crashes now since upgrading to 15.4 beta, same with only 1 card running. Running a Xeon 5650@4GHz, 6GB Ram.

Matt, I have a question, which I think's already been answered if I'm honest, but if I turn MSAA 'On' (no matter whether it's 2x, 4x or 8x) it causes some on screen glitching/corruption, as in some sort of snowy square blocks appear in the bottom right corner of the screen (obviously this isn't meant to be there), so I simply run with MSAA off.
I know you'll be working on trying to fix this but is this something that many others have reported, and is there a reason for this (running out of VRAM etc, as I'm aware my 7970 is only a 3gb card, but GTAV reports it's using under 3gb anyway.

Matt, I feel a bit guilty after posting my last post to be honest, as I'm extremely impressed that a game that looks this good runs so well on my machine. You guys have done an outstanding job on the drivers.
I was convinced I'd need another graphics card in order to get anywhere near 60FPS with max/very high settings, so convinced in fact I bought another GPU.
I can't wait for the weekend when I'm going to be installing my 2nd card and see if I can add some of the Advanced Graphics settings into the mix (if I've got enough VRAM of course :p
Keep up the superb work Matt :)

Can i just confirm, are you using DirectX 11?

Can you share a screenshot of the exact settings you're using please? I think you'll need 3-4 screens to cover all the settings, including display, graphics and advanced graphics.

Thanks Bucho. :)

Matt, could you have a look at the video I posted on the previous page and confirm whether it's a game, driver, or hardware issue?

I've watched the video and it does look like a memory corruption issue. I would recommend trying to roll back to our previous Beta, 15.3, to see if this resolves the issue.

If it still occurs then i would look to start testing each gpu individually in this game, to see if one particular gpu is the culprit.
