That's exactly the problem I sometimes get with my 7970/280x Xfire in GTA5. Temps are fine etc. Seems intermittent though so I can't reproduce it

Kinda sucks a bit that we can't play properly at all due to glitchy drivers
We're still investigating the issue with Rockstar so no ETA yet I'm afraid.

What about the same issue with Hardline though?
I know this is a long shot but has anyone tried GTA V on Windows 10? I did the swap last night to give it ago and a few games seem fine and GTA V is also fine when running about pew pewing people but as soon as you move above 30mph in a car the performance drops 80-90% down to 10-20 fps! I'm guessing this is a texture streaming issue or something of the like?
I'm just wondering if anyone has seen similar issues or if there is a commonly known fix etc.

I get it on hard line and GTAV as well as other people that all seem to be using the 280x

howiepoohs try going to the pCars installation directory and running the pCars.exe (not pCars64.exe) this almost doubled my framerate on Windows 7 Ultimate !! I hope you get the same result !!!

As i said on the previous page, we're working together with the dev to resolve the problems that have appeared since the final build of the game launched. In the beta build things were performing normally, but now that's not the case. I don't know why that is, or what has changed, but we're working on it.
I'll give this a go as well when I get home.
