I tried down clocking but because it doesn't happen every time it's not possible to say conclusively if that fixed it.

Infact it's the other way around for me, AMD have messed up big time with shoddy driver support, all Matt is doing is jumping from one part of a sinking ship to another.
 
Just small good news about modded drivers. New version 1040.0 has working crossfire freesync :)

I really hope we see these new features in upcoming drivers soon :)

Great stuff :D Just seen couple people on Guru3D also report its working.. I hold out for AMD driver release though.. I have no doubt modded version of drivers work great its just I don't feel the need to testing them.

AMD is hard at work on drivers thats for sure! They release countless Windows 10 drivers these past couple weeks.. Guru3D cant keep up haaaa
 
New GPU's arrive soon, the delay might be them working on getting new GPU release Drivers right, could be as early as Tuesday?

but but but.... a fanatical nvidia boy said that AMD won't get crossfire freesync working because it is a hardware issue!!!!

I am looking forward to seeing how the next couple of AMD drivers are, still not sure what to think really but after seeing all the reports of the modded windows 10 drivers and supposedly a complete revamp for ui and new features I think the wait may be worth it in the end, hopefully....

Just a warning, these driver seem to miss opencl driver. (for some people)

Also these drivers are missing frame limiter, that 1023.5 had. (another new feature)

Edit. Also remember to read install instructions carefull. And don't blame AMD if they don't work for you. They ain't officially released, especially for W7/8.1
 
Poor guy is probably scared witless! Wonder how many times he's wrote his opening post only to bottle it. :D

That or he's waiting for next week, so his introduction to the forum can be a barrage of new info.

Don't worry, i know the risks. I'm on Win10 anyway so they should work.
