just tried Witcher 3, OMG the stutter is incredible. Both cards usage all over the place, cores fluctuating between 900MHz and 1100MHz (1100MHz is my set clock) and the framtimes lol...up down up down up down stutter, lag...1000ms frametimes in the stutters - see pic under spoiler for MSI log

No, im using a Xonar U7 (USB).

Well restarted, and the 15.7.1s were off, so installed the 15.8s, which went in fine, just never came up about having to restart after they'd gone in, so did that manually, rebooted fine, checked the CCC, 15.8s are on, so all good so far, no hang like before when restarting after installing new drivers, and also, i don't have to switch my monitor off, then back on, when my desktop loads (which i had to do with the 15.7.1s), stays on fine now, so good signs.

Will run some benchies, just to make sure it is all ok.

Can you try 3d mark. I know its only artificial but gives a good indication of general performance.

Mine is exactly the same as the previous drivers, within margin of error.

Performance optimization does not necessary mean an average performance boost.

I think AMD would include a % if that was the case like they usually do.

15.8 seems good, just had an hour on Mad Max and it runs very smooth.

Surely any improvements in ashes are minimum since its dx12. Anyone tested?

Performance optimizations could be anything it doesn't always mean frame rate.

You guys tried Metal Gear Solid 5 with crossfire? Don't fancy splashing out and wasting my time if it is not working properly on crossfire as I want to play it 4k maxed ideally.
