The AMD Driver Thread

Any time I try to run either Hitman or ROTTR in DX12 mode with Crossfire enabled I get a program has stopped working error.

Ashes of Singularity works fine with DX12 and Crossfire and I have also tried DDU to remove and install the lates 16.3 drivers from scratch.

Is this happening for anyone else?

R9 Fury
R9 Nano
Windows 10

Surely it's around 33% worse?
Same number of horizontal pixels wide and 360 more vertical pixels.

Not 100% sure on the performance hit, no doubt that 2560x1440 is definitely more demanding though but I am "guessing" probably only by about 10-15 FPS at most difference depending on the game. It has a higher pixel count but 21.9 renders quite a bit more at the sides.

Since loading on "non-whql-64bit-radeon-software-crimson-16.3-win10-win8.1-win7-march9" I'm getting artifacts on my desktop as well as in games!

Sorry, missed that part off, new screen shot but with FPS included.

put in to spoiler tags as I kept the screen shot at its full size to read easier

left on the main screen for about 6 mins and walked away lol

anything else let me know :)
Please to say the 16.3 drivers have fixed my Lego Worlds lag :)

no issues to report with 16.3 here

used DDU to remove old drivers and then installed 16.3 :D

Stalker what gpu are you using?

7950, it's not the driver itself im having issues with its Radeon Settings that's broken and the game profiles list isn't populating with my games and adding them manually while the exe then shows in the list the settings don't actually get applied.

that sucks, I don't use that side of things.

the only settings I have changed is the power saving ones and I leave the rest as default.

Why should I need to use DDU to upgrade from one set of ATI drivers to another :(

can use add\remove programs in windows but people find they get better results and sometimes some AMD driver stuff can be left behind.

do it through windows if you have issues after to make sure its not a driver issue use DDU and re install the drivers
