You guys having trouble with bouncing clock speeds, are you all on freesync or summat? Recently ive been flashing loads of different bioses, i was thinking i was gonna start seeing some of these problems but i havent seen it, i was wondering if its cause im stuck on a vsync monitor and most you lot are using freesync.

not on freesync, just a standard 180P monitor
Well there's your problem, the clocks don't need to run full speed to render at 180p![]()
Everything on, maxed @1440p, apart from the Shadows on Softest, the MSAA off, and the Grass Detail on High.![]()
What ya got MSAA off for? i use same settings cept 4xmsaa, or i use vhigh grass with 2xmsaa depends what im doing.

Ah that sux, having 2 furys would rock in GTA you would be able to run 4xmsaa with vhigh grass i bet and still keep nice fps.
To get rid of the stutter with a vsync monitor ya have to limit the FPS but i dunno how ya would do it with freesync.
how people can play this without AA baffles me. This game looks quite poor without tbh
Completely depends which resolution your running at.
I'm so desperate for this Division crossfire profile, a single 390 just doesn't cut it at 1440p unless I drop graphic settings down to medium....and I refuse to do that on a 2 grand build.
You shouldn't have to drop it that low, on my 290 with most stuff on high/ultra my FPS varies, outside about 40-50FPS with dips to 35 and inside, more or less locked to 60FPS.
Particle Detail - high
Depth of Field - medium (going to turn this off, ****es me of when aiming down sights)
Volumetric Fog - medium
Contact Shadows - all low
Object Detail - 50%
Streaming Distance - 50%
shadow - high
No AA - using kputts sweetfx with SMAA
CA and vignette of
Most of those things above are heavy hitters with little difference in IQ
Since your cpu is a lot better than mine you should get better mins. etc. too and be able to crank the settings up a bit + freesync will help smooth the fluctuations out.
