The AMD Driver Thread

I agree we won't know for sure what happens behind the scenes..
All this was my defence for AMD tbh I think it's very wrong to also put the blame on to the driver solely when in reality the devs are the ones building the game.

The blame has to be with ubisoft and Amd.

Edit
Driver released division fixed
Now I very doubt AMD did that all alone, and taken this long. Ubisoft and Amd have worked together on this fix am 100% sure.

But that is the problem, ubi have no mention of working on a fix nor a fix in any of their patch notes and I don't think AMD even mentioned about working with ubi to fix this so I find it hard to believe that it was a problem on ubi's end "as well" otherwise AMD PR team would be shouting about it from the rooftops, not to mention, there have been far too many games from various developers and running on various engines that have had "flickering" with crossfire.

Ok thanks. I obviously dont crossfire hence i had no issues. Maybe the best way forward is to drop crossfire all together and go with single GPU's.

Yup, single GPU the only way to go now, mGPU for both sides has gone to pure **** and will only get worse imo, especially with dx 12 since it will be down to the developers to get mGPU working well and well, going by most PC games these days, they are usually broken on release :p

What I tell ya, this is why I was totally sceptical regarding the so called crossfire fix.

Flickering gone absolutely, but my god performance is totally gash, stutters like a mofo every 5 seconds and scaling is **** poor. I get more fps on 1 card than on 2. Another fantastic driver, so if they did work with Ubi, did no one even try and improve the horrendous stutter and terribly low frame rate. Everything always half baked, ah sod it we'll just release it broken after all we did fix the flicker. :(

Stutters like crazy in CF and fps is only borderline better than on one card. Also getting intermittent flicker (mostly on reflections) and this is on a clean install. Going back to one card on this one I guess :/

I have AMD Radeon HD 7670 graphics in my laptop and driver has installed correctly but whenever I switch my graphics to high performance I cann't play any game. This is because I am not provided with correct drivers for Windows 8.1 64-bit os.
