CrossfireWiki here stating which games work and don't and comments to boot. Might be helpful. I'm sure it'll get lost in this thread but it's there for reference.

Hi,
How does Just Cause 3 run on single AMD cards?
Very nicely on my R9 390
1) Testing conducted by AMD Performance Labs as of April 3, 2016
So this is a Forza hotfix only?
Just installed, can't get my second card working for toffees. Everything stays at zero usage even on benchmarks. Disabled ulps in msiab, changed ulps mode in regedit and tried using trip, 2nd card is flat out refusing to do anything.
Will keep persevering.
because if I dont disable it, my second card does all sorts of weird stuff when gaming. No idea why.
Got it sorted now anyway
Hi,

Not too far away from 60FPS average with everything maxed on a R9 FuryX at 3440x1440p resolution.
Yeah just Forza Release driver
Gotta give some credit here to this driver and how well Forza Apex runs. I was really dreading not being able to use crossfire on this one, just couldnt see how I was going to max out the game at 1440p and keep 60fps. Well, even on a single 390, everything turned to ultra with 4xmsaa added at 1440p, this game is purring along. I've no way of measuring frames as no overlay seems to work, but from experience this feels like its a solid 60fps at all times.
Very impressed with the 390 here on this one.
