The AMD Driver Thread

Seen that other day, has me thinking is it because of compatibility with the software OSD and some games or is it because AMD working on there own recording software that will be announced next month ;)
November is AMD's month for releasing new things.

I hope they release something inside Crimson (like a new TAB), and NOT a 3rd party program again.

I was going to press submit on that very angry post i had just typed out but i deleted it instead...

Sigh!!!!

Dear AMD Matt will the trial, for which i am guessing is a final build, of BF1 getting crossfire support ?

I want to trial it on my 4k monitor..................

the 4k gaming hype train is almost dead to me.....

tried crossfire in dx11 doesn't work.

Yeah devs don't seem to be bothered with mgpu on dx12 which is a real shame because the support for crossfire is getting so bad..

Just read the latest driver notes, looks like crossfire should be supported.

I might just be the unlucky one. I will have a play about and see if there is anything i can do my end.

Battlefront had shocking crossfire support for a long long time. In fact it was non existent for maybe 6 months or so. Actually, I'm not even sure it works properly now.

True, but that isn't Battlefield :p

Seriously though, who is truly at blame there? Lazy dev team or Amd?

It's a hard one to call in these situations.

Battlefront looks like it scales pretty well. Around 71%.

I am surprised that they still use Bf4/3 instead of the much newer Battlefront. I wonder if it's anything to do with how Nvidia fairs better in BF4/3 lol.

OK I set FRTC to 143 (1 below my monitor's refresh rate of 144) but in CSGO it definitely feels a little bit stuttery now - it's not that bad but it is just about noticeable. Do I have to change any other settings? V-sync is off.

CSGO is one game that doesn't like FRTC the only way to limit CSGO FPS without getting stutter is by using the games own limiter FPS_MAX 143 in the console.

I think the reason for this is how CSGO works your FPS is linked with your network latency, this the reason you shouldn't limit your FPS. It can give you worst hit reg
