For gaming I don't worry too much about fps, system info, etc and never overclock.

Same here I stopped caring about OSD number long time ago. It just pulls you away from the game you playing.

Never played Dead Space 1 when released, grabbed it on steam promo recently. To my horror V-Sync on = 30FPS cap, as old game with V-Sync off FPS was nuts. So FTRC sorted it when using a FreeSync panel.

Why I say a FS panel sorted it with FTRC, when on the other 2 monitors I used FRTC I still got a distinct line in rendered image (Eizo FG2421 or Dell U2515H) but not on the Asus MG279Q

Any chance of Power Efficiency setting being in Gaming > Profile? as having it only in global means clock bounce at idle in windows

I tried running a game tonight with FRTC and vsync both off and I got tearing and stuttering. Much better with vsync on. Turned FRTC off now following the possible freesync compatability. Seems fine.

I see the failing in my suggestion regarding PE.

For example to keep card at lowest state at desktop I'd need PE=On in Gaming > Global settings. Then if even PE was part of Gaming > Profiles and I disabled it for a game the PE=On in Gaming > Global settings would overide it

@AMDMatt.. So when i run DayZ in borderless window mode i get this crazy stuttering, in full screen its totally smooth and i have no issues at all.

Is this a game or driver issue? Reason i ask is because the way i have fixed the borderless stuttering is by installing RadeonPro and forcing Dynamic Vsync which has got rid of the stuttering, it is now as smooth as full screen and was worth all the hours i put into finding a fix

Are we ever going to get to get Dynamic Vsync in the Crimson settings as an option? Also would a Freesync monitor fix this issue? Is that the reason for no Dynamic Vsync in the driver.. to make us buy a Freesync monitor? :rolleyes:

Isnt the Nvidia equivalent to Dynamic Vsync called Adaptive Vsync which they have in their control panel?

borderless mode is best for streamers as tabbing in and out of full screen takes a few seconds to do and im not even gona start talking about how OBS/Studio has a black screen if trying to use Antialiasing in full screen with game capture, only way around it is in borderless with window capture.

Also, are the DayZ Devs working with you guys on driver optimisations yet?

Starting September 12th 2016, AMD is no longer bundling the 'AMD Gaming Evolved App' by Raptr with builds of Radeon Software. The application will still work. AMD will cease to undertake any compatibility testing, install support or general technical support for this application, nor will it be available through Radeon Software or its installer. Previous builds of Radeon Software that include the 'AMD Gaming Evolved App' dated before September 12th 2016 will remain intact and will not be affected.
