i thought it was always the case you were better of using chill as the limiter, as in set the min and max to the limited fps number that you require due to latency with the actual limiter not being present in chil. presume thats why it was removed?Has anyone found the cap limiter without using ichill?

Damn these drivers are incredible!
Superb in every way, stable, personally not had any bugs myself so far and the fantastic useful features + the UI looks sweet and is quick as ****!
and thats why i said set the min and the max to your capichill is crap on competitive games like WOT, because instead of pushing the card to it's cap, keeps is close to minimum which need to be set high enough (over 100fps). Yet 100 fps is worthless on the next game I will play, a strategy where it can do with 60, so need to re-arrange it again.
And that's issue on most games using own launchers these days, where we cannot create game profiles properly.
anyone else having issues with unreal 4 games with the new driver, getting crashing/fatal crashes etc on two systems 1 vega 56 and 1 390x, didnt happenprio to the update on either system.
yep done on both system multiple times, no change, just rolling 1 machine back now for testing.Did you used DDU in windows safe mode? I don't have any issues but had without wiping the drivers.

on 2 separate systems that were both working prior to the update? im not convinced seems engine related to me specific to the latest driver.Hmm. There should be an other underlying issue.

have you tried any unreal 4 based games are they working for you?
edit: yep confirmed rolling back to 19.11.3 fixes the problem. @LtMatt seems like the latest drivers are not friendly with unreal4 engine based games, can you pass along to the driver team. there is also reports on google if you search for 'amd 19.12.2 and unreal 4' not just specific to me.
ah ok cheers mate, ive submitted a report, hopefully they will get it resolved.Ive read few reports of UE4 games not working with these.
ok these drivers suck
intermittent problems with both rage 2 splash screens and borderlands 3, now borderlands 3 plays stuff on splash screens and i get blank screen...... or multicolour static
think ill go back, thats the only 2 games i tried with these drivers on my 5700
submitted a detailed report to amd.
edit: what was the latest drivers before these ones?
edit: just went back to early december ones and every thing is working awesome again
Similar issues on Vega 64, no overclocking enabled, getting black screen on sleep bugs, crashing in BFV , Freesync going very weird in Borderless, alt tab out works ok for 10 secs then goes stutter mad again .. not at all stable .
Have turned off Anti Lag, Enhanced Sync etc globally but still not better.
Hmm, out of the blue a whole host of issues have cropped up. PoE crashes, Fortnite crashes, random game on xbox crashes. Sometimes it takes the entire PC with it and I have to hard reset. Going to reroll and see if it fixes it. Kinda ***** if it is these drivers cause some of the features i've been looking forward to.
