Just as well you never bought a 295x2, they've been bouncing around from £630 to £499 literally on a day by day basis as of late. :p

They don't have to do certifieds though, as its means nothing, just drivers on a regular basis, they can't expect their premium branded card owners to accept this same non existant support as well, not for £700/800+ a pop.

Does titan X have separate drivers? Genuine question by the way. Last Nvidia card I had was a 670 and it has been a long time I have not browsed nvidia only threads.

No they don't, but their driver support isn't like AMDs.

That was in response to you talking about them saving cash as if the driver team only get paid if they're writing drivers. :confused:

I wonder if the TXs would be flying off the shelves if they wern't going to get drivers for months and months on end, if everyone was gona be rushing out to buy 2/3/4 of em also for SLi/Tri/Quad, and were going to have to wait for months and months on end until a monitor (or something else) was getting released before they could have their profiles to use all their cards etc....

As far as im aware neither nvidia or amd have a set schedule for releasing drivers so either way its down to whenever they're available.

As for titan, it probably would have sold well still because its the latest gpu, and you wouldn't know beforehand how regular driver updates would be for it anyway.
 
You would know beforehand, from all the cards out before it, if the 980/970 etc... were getting that support, then would you really rush out to spend around double their money on a card with more Vram, thats not much faster, for that same support.

Any 280/290 etc.. owners gona rush out for a £700/£800+ Preimum branded Fiji (or even 2/3/4 of em) with this support ?

Doubtful i will either, nothing to do with support, more along the lines of waiting for a dual gpu version at some point :) Or if nvidia release something comparable that could be an option as well, as long as its not in the cuckoo land pricing of titan z.
 
Nvidia may release drivers more often and this may lead to some people having issues, but at least if they release them frequently you don't have to wait so long for a fix (hopefully).

Also, it may surprise some to learn, that just because Nvidia release a new driver doesn't mean you have to install it. AMD not releasing a driver means you can't install it even if you wanted to. Nvidia give their customers choice, AMD take this away from their customers.
